It was scaled down from about 3500x2500, it's just what happens is at larger resolutions i always end up using really big brushes because i don't have the attention span to keep working on something for too long, so everything looks smudgy and rough
I don't know if this is the right place to post this but I just made a black and blue icon for osu because I couldn't find any anywhere and I NEEDED (desperately) a different icon for my theme
It sucks, I know, but looks fine as a small icon, any tips for making it better?
Also, does anyone know what font is used in the normal icon, I just substituted with something that looks similar

Drawing things like mine requires no skill whatsoever and doesn't even take that long (that one took me 1h20). You need to have basic anatomy skills or be able to copy a picture (I took a picture of a cat as a reference for that eevee) and know what looks cute. Generally speaking, round things look cuter than sharp ones. Add big eyes, small nose/muzzle and a :3 mouth and you get cute drawings with no effort.

It could be improved (like adding Graveler's hands at the corners, or Geodude shadows in front of Ruby - the vulpix - and Lemon - the eevee).
I have no fucking idea how to draw backgrounds it's depressing.
