[General]

[Easy]

[Normal]

[Hard]

[Insane]

  • I see what you did there
Hi banvi! Here's a mod from Gabe's mod> Kevin's bubble> Chewin's Rank modding queue!
  • Make sure that you reply with what you haven't fixed. Since I could poke Kevin for a mod, it would be better for me and him to know what you haven't fixed on my mod and maybe, why. But it would be good if you simply reply with a Yes/No. After that, I could come here and gives more suggestion on the point you have rejected.
General
  1. The folder is looking fine, nothing wrong for this.
  2. You could consider to add more tags, maybe? For an example.. the characters, the director of the anime (Hatsuki Tsuji), etc.. Right now, there's only two tags. If you want more persons to look at your map and maybe play it, it would be good to add more tags on every difficulty. (Make sure they're all consistent)
  3. You could disable Letterboxes during break time on every difficulties since they don't contain any breaks. It will be useless to keep it enabled.
  4. You should be adding spinners on every difficulty to make some variation on the scores. That's not cool to see everyone having the same exact score.
Easy
When I was looking at this difficulty, I thought banvi made it. The patterns are well constructed, the blankets are awesome but then, I saw: LF's Easy. Because of this, I'm glad to say that difficulty is awesome!

Flows/Emplacements of the objects
To make sure there's no random jumps, has great flows, do not have random objects placed on the timeline that doesn't fit with the song;
  1. 00:08:588 (2,2) - Do you see the overlaps here? You could try to make another form or even, move it somewhere else to avoid this overlaps. Even if it's almost fade out, we can see the previous slider and it doesn't look pretty good.
  2. 00:16:612 (3,4) - I do not recommend stacking notes on an Easy difficulty. It doesn't make sense since these objects are consistent on the timeline and should also be consistent on the playfield. Unstack these objects and rearrange your pattern to keep the same spacing anytime.
  3. 01:04:402 (3) - That's not something wrong but, can you try to make a better blanket here? Like making the curve more closer to the circle. Because right now, it has a little space which is not a pretty good blanket. If you do a better blanket here, you would need to do a copy/paste to get the same slider with 01:05:798 (1) - .
  4. 01:21:146 (3) - You should try make this more easier for beginners. Having two reverses arrows on a slider can be difficult for some new players. Try to make it easier by deleting a reverse arrow and adding a circle to 01:23:239 with a finish. It's going to be easier that way c:
Hitsounds
In case there's inconsistencies with your hitsounds, useless hitsounds. I may also suggest you some things to make your hitsounds better;
It seems consistent~

New combos
New combos are one of the things I think it's important for a beatmap. Combos shouldn't be overused, have too much objects in a combo and should fit with the song;
Looks pretty good!

Normal

Flows/Emplacements of the objects
To make sure there's no random jumps, has great flows, do not have random objects placed on the timeline that doesn't fit with the song;
  1. 00:20:449 (6,1) - Can you try to make a better second wave please? Even if it's a 1/2 sliders, the end of both sliders should have been curved like the first wave. You can look on the box above for a little more information of what I'm telling you. As you can see, there's more difference with the slider (1) from the previous slider. The slider (1) looks more curved and it looks better. why don't you try to do the same?
  2. 00:37:891 (1,2) - Since these object has the same spacing of the previous objects, you should try to avoid this kind of stack by moving the slider (2) somewhere. By doing this, the spacing will be consistent like it was previously and there won't be any stacks~
  3. 00:43:472 (1,2) - You should try to make the same thing here as I said on the point above, you can have an example with the two next objects. Since they're more closer, it's good for them to be stacked, but for these two, they're placed consistently in 1/2 on the timeline. So, the spacing should stay the same for these objects. (Well, I mean, move the object (2) somewhere else so there won't be any stackings) Try to do the same thing for these objects: 00:49:053 (1,2) -
Hitsounds
In case there's inconsistencies with your hitsounds, useless hitsounds. I may also suggest you some things to make your hitsounds better;
  1. 00:20:798 - Shouldn't it have a clap here even if there's a finish? Even if there's a finish, you could add a clap here to keep the consistency with your previous claps.
New combos
New combos are one of the things I think it's important for a beatmap. Combos shouldn't be overused, have too much objects in a combo and should fit with the song;
Nothing wrong to say here!

Hard

Flows/Emplacements of the objects
To make sure there's no random jumps, has great flows, do not have random objects placed on the timeline that doesn't fit with the song;
  1. 00:06:844 (4,1) - I don't really like this 1/4 slider with two reverses arrow and the next slider. The form of the next slider makes these objects really odd. What I meant is, the slider (1) has two red nodes which cuts the slider and makes it straight to another place, well, for this place, it's a bit overlapped by the previous slider which makes it awkward. To be honest, it would look better if you do the same thing like you've done to 00:12:425 (4,1) - by curving the slider (1) like you've done for these. It would look better than these weird shaped straighslider. (I don't know how I can call it xD)
  2. 00:29:344 (1) - The emplacement and the flow here isn't pretty good because of the two previous sliders, which are straight sliders that does a rotation from up to down. As you can see at this slider, it doesn't make it good after the previous slider since this one goes to the left. So the transition from the slider (2) to the slider (1) is not good. Sooo.. my suggestion here is to stack the 1/4 reversearrow-slider(1) with the previous slider (1)'s end. It will make the flow more better than it is currently.
  3. 00:50:449 (3,4) - Erm, I don't really like the flow here when it turns with the square form. The emplacement of these objects: (3,4,5) makes the flow a bit bad. (Well, the form of the slider (3) makes it a bit bad). But seriously, I think you should start the circle (4) at where the circle (5) is. It will make a better transition and the flow is going to be way more better. also, you're making a jump with the objects (7,1), which shouldn't happen. Look on the box for more information
    Example

    As you can see, the circle (4) is where the circle (5) was, the circle (5) is where the circle (6) was, the circle (6) was where the circle (7) was and etc. That's simple to do.
  4. 00:52:891 (5) - This doesn't need a lot of explanation, instead of stacking this circle with the circle (3), why don't you make a diamond form with these objects: (3,4,5,1,)? It will be more enjoyable to play instead.
  5. 01:14:693 (4,5) - Since it as a long and strong word from 01:14:693 to 01:15:042, I think it would be better if you reverse the emplacement of these two objects on the timeline to make it sound better. I've found it randomly because I thought it the slider (5) didn't sounded good if I followed the vocals. If you don't change it because of the hitsounds, you could add an hitsound to the slidertick? It will make the same job. You should consider to do the same thing for these objects 01:16:088 (4,5) - :3
Hitsounds
In case there's inconsistencies with your hitsounds, useless hitsounds. I may also suggest you some things to make your hitsounds better;
  1. 00:28:472 (5,1,2) - Are these claps intentional? I don't know.. it just don't keep the consistency and it sounds a bit weird. Would you mind to try something else here?
New combos
New combos are one of the things I think it's important for a beatmap. Combos shouldn't be overused, have too much objects in a combo and should fit with the song;
  1. 00:25:158 (4) - You could add a new combo here for the polarity of the downbeat/upbeats for these red lines. Also, It will fit with the vocals, which also fit with these red lines.
  2. 00:39:286 (3) - To keep the consistency with your hitsounds and your previous combos, don't you think it would be better if you add a new combo to this object?
  3. 00:55:856 (5) - This new combo seems to be a bit long and also, you should make it consistent like the Insane difficulty: By adding a new combo at this place. To be honest, it wasn't bad the way it was, but it would be preferred if it was consistent with the Insane difficulty.

Insane
  • This difficulty is really good! I couldn't find anything wrong while play testing and looking more patiently on the editor. Most of your objects are well placed, which follows the vocals and obvious sounds in the song. You've made a nice job. I've play tested the map at least five times, looked on the editor many times and I can't find anything wrong!
Flows/Emplacements of the objects
To make sure there's no random jumps, has great flows, do not have random objects placed on the timeline that doesn't fit with the song;
  1. 00:24:635 (3) - With this slider, you could make a better flow with the previous curved slider (1) and the next slider which is also curved. I guess it would be better if you do that since the first slider is curved to go at the left but then, at this slider, it curves at the right. So it doesn't make a pretty good flow here. What you should do here is: Highlight the slider (3) and do CTRL+H to change the direction of the slider. After it, with the distance snap, make sure that it goes to x:88 y:116. After you've done all that, maybe you could stack the next slider with the circle (2). Since it does a great flow with (1,2,3), you could keep the same thing with (3,1).
  2. 01:15:216 (6) - Don't you think it would be better if you avoid doing a jump here? I swear I've missed this a lot of time. But seriously, I really think you shouldn't do a jump here. Since there's a clap at this note and on the previous note (Obviously, the note 5), I think it would be good if you stack these circles together. Since that's the same hitsounds and it's placed twice, that's not a bad idea. You could also do the same thing with these circles, to keep the consistency (since it's the same thing): 01:16:263 (5,6) -
  3. 01:22:716 (2,1) - *You can skip this one, if you want* I think you should avoid stacking these objects since there's a break time between these objects. When play testing, it confused me a bit since I didn't know where to click. So maybe, to avoid any confusion for players, you should unstack these two objects.
Hitsounds
In case there's inconsistencies with your hitsounds, useless hitsounds. I may also suggest you some things to make your hitsounds better;
  • Pretty good! Everything is consistent, I can't even try to give you more suggestions for that!
New combos
New combos are one of the things I think it's important for a beatmap. Combos shouldn't be overused, have too much objects in a combo and should fit with the song;

  • Everything looks fine here again; There's only one thing I didn't liked. 01:21:146 (1,1,1,1,1,2) - These objects makes the new combo option overused but you've used it in a good way since to be honest, it wouldn't make it good if they were in a simple combo. Mostly that they are the same object copy/paste and it fits with the song, so that's alright!

  • You have made a nice job here! Call me back for a recheck when you're ready to pass on the next step.

  2. 00:16:612 (3,4) - I do not recommend stacking notes on an Easy difficulty. It doesn't make sense since these objects are consistent on the timeline and should also be consistent on the playfield. Unstack these objects and rearrange your pattern to keep the same spacing anytime. removed (3) and arranged
  3. 01:04:402 (3) - That's not something wrong but, can you try to make a better blanket here? Like making the curve more closer to the circle. Because right now, it has a little space which is not a pretty good blanket. If you do a better blanket here, you would need to do a copy/paste to get the same slider with 01:05:798 (1) - .
    maybe fixed
  4. 01:21:146 (3) - You should try make this more easier for beginners. Having two reverses arrows on a slider can be difficult for some new players. Try to make it easier by deleting a reverse arrow and adding a circle to 01:23:239 with a finish. It's going to be easier that way c: ok~

  2. 00:39:286 (3) - To keep the consistency with your hitsounds and your previous combos, don't you think it would be better if you add a new combo to this object? but I think combo will be too short, so not changed
  3. 00:55:856 (5) - This new combo seems to be a bit long and also, you should make it consistent like the Insane difficulty: By adding a new combo at this place. To be honest, it wasn't bad the way it was, but it would be preferred if it was consistent with the Insane difficulty. ok

Insane
  • This difficulty is really good! I couldn't find anything wrong while play testing and looking more patiently on the editor. Most of your objects are well placed, which follows the vocals and obvious sounds in the song. You've made a nice job. I've play tested the map at least five times, looked on the editor many times and I can't find anything wrong! wow thanks!!
Flows/Emplacements of the objects
To make sure there's no random jumps, has great flows, do not have random objects placed on the timeline that doesn't fit with the song;
  1. 00:24:635 (3) - With this slider, you could make a better flow with the previous curved slider (1) and the next slider which is also curved. Since it does a great flow with (1,2,3), you could keep the same thing with (3,1). just changed the direction of the silder.
  2. 01:15:216 (6) - Don't you think it would be better if you avoid doing a jump here? I swear I've missed this a lot of time. But seriously, I really think you shouldn't do a jump here. Since there's a clap at this note and on the previous note (Obviously, the note 5), I think it would be good if you stack these circles together. Since that's the same hitsounds and it's placed twice, that's not a bad idea. You could also do the same thing with these circles, to keep the consistency (since it's the same thing): 01:16:263 (5,6) -
    nah, I don't want to change. It's my style ;)
  3. 01:22:716 (2,1) - *You can skip this one, if you want* I think you should avoid stacking these objects since there's a break time between these objects. When play testing, it confused me a bit since I didn't know where to click. So maybe, to avoid any confusion for players, you should unstack these two objects. Because of changing to a spinner, I seem this problem was solved.
Hitsounds
In case there's inconsistencies with your hitsounds, useless hitsounds. I may also suggest you some things to make your hitsounds better;
  • Pretty good! Everything is consistent, I can't even try to give you more suggestions for that!
New combos
New combos are one of the things I think it's important for a beatmap. Combos shouldn't be overused, have too much objects in a combo and should fit with the song;

Well, I like this pattern and it looks beautiful~

  • You have made a nice job here! Call me back for a recheck when you're ready to pass on the next step.
Thanks for your nice modding! :) :)
Aurele
Okay! I've did a recheck of the suggestions I've given you and I've looked on the suggestions you've rejected on the other mods.
Everything is alright! So.. let's go to the next step of the queue!

Hey!

[LF's Easy]

  1. 00:13:123 (1,2,3) - That press-hold rhythm introduced by 00:13:123 (1) - does not actually fit/sound that good... As you see,you are skipping over the vocals introduction,making this kinda strange to hear. What about instead replacing the slider with 00:14:518 (2) - ? It would follow the vocals transition much better as you did in the following patterns too!

    To mantain the symmetry used there,I tried to make a pattern using this arrangement. See if you like it,and feel free to make changes if you want! :P

  2. 00:21:844 (4,5,1) - This is just a little suggestion of mine,please avoid that if you don't want to change: what about following a bit more the vocals here instead of just the drums here,to vary a bit the rhythm? Even if that kinda breaks the symmetry created with 00:24:635 (2) - ,it would be really nice to play as it varies your usual 1/1 rhythm by using a 3/2 repeated slider and as it plays pretty good! Here's what I have done here:

    Here's a pattern that could flow absolutely well using this "tecnique" :P

With that being said,that slider you have used there does not really fit rhythmically talking,so I highly suggest you to make this 1/2 longer instead.
  4. 01:07:716 (6) - This is a quite little thing,but what about adding a finish on this slider's end? It fits quite good to emphatize the vocals that are "repeating" here,imho!
  5. 01:17:832 (x)- What about adding a note here? Finishing the whole part with this note imho fits and sounds better,as the vocals are supposed to end here,other than making the gap with the next slider a 1/1,making it even easier to finish the pattern!
[Hard]

  1. 00:28:995 (7) - What about splitting this in a 1/2 slider and a note? This should make more sense,as it follows the drums transition there. Here's the outcome:

  1. 01:04:402 (1) - What about using CTRL+G on the top of this? I liked that "returning back" that happened between 01:04:228 (4,1) - ,and that dropoff with 01:04:925 (2) - does actually play really good!
  2. 01:09:809 (4,1) - Well,instead of blanketting 01:09:809 (4) - with 01:09:286 (3) - I would have instead a better formation in mind. What about placing this note right next to 01:09:984 (1) - ,so that with 01:09:984 (1) - (reversed using CTRL+G) it makes a really good to play pattern that plays really natural. 5. 01:17:832 (x)- What about adding a note here? Finishing the whole part with this note imho fits and sounds better,as the vocals are supposed to end here,other than making the gap with the next slider a 1/1,making it even easier to finish the pattern!
    I have considered before you say it. But if I did it, the star rate would be ☆4.5. I don't wanna to see ☆4.5 for a normal diff. Honestly, I think this rhythm is okay, so not changed, sorry ><
[Hard]

  1. 00:28:995 (7) - What about splitting this in a 1/2 slider and a note? This should make more sense,as it follows the drums transition there. Here's the outcome:

    I actually have a little idea which could work pretty good with the kind of rhythm I just showed you. See if you like it!
    nice! changed!

  2. 00:31:263 (1,2,3) - Heh,not really fond of the dropoff between 00:30:739 (4,1) - ,which doesen't play really THAT good... What about instead making another triangular pattern going this time downwards and upwards to flow pretty good within 00:32:309 (1) - ? Here's what I have made:

    Well... some people think this is bad flow. But I believe it's fun to play! ><
  3. 00:48:356 (3) - That's a pretty much personal thing,so just fix if you want. What about structuring this slider vertically,encircling 00:48:181 (2) - ? This is a little thing,but it should mabe the dropoff with 00:49:053 (1,2) - smoother to play.
    SPOILER

    looks nice! changed!
  4. 01:17:658 (2) - Another personal thingthough what about instead making the rhythm here a bit more complicated by replacing this slider with 3 1/2 notes? Imho,it is funnier to play :P

    Umm, sorry. I keep this.
[Insane]

  1. 01:04:402 (1) - What about using CTRL+G on the top of this? I liked that "returning back" that happened between 01:04:228 (4,1) - ,and that dropoff with 01:04:925 (2) - does actually play really good!
    I like too. but... I think I shouldn't do here. I wanna keep consistency of the spacing for 00:58:821 (1,2) and 01:09:984 (1,2).
  2. 01:09:809 (4,1) - Well,instead of blanketting 01:09:809 (4) - with 01:09:286 (3) - I would have instead a better formation in mind. What about placing this note right next to 01:09:984 (1) - ,so that with 01:09:984 (1) - (reversed using CTRL+G) it makes a really good to play pattern that plays really natural. Here's what I have done right now!
    SPOILER

    yes, but I wanna keep this because I also use this formation at 00:58:123 (3,4,1). I usually focus on consistency. ><
    For the rest this diff is totally awesome! <3 Thanks~ <3 Sorry for my quite poor mod there D:
    Noooo, there are nice suggestions although I didn't change :o
Call me back once when you finished fixing!
I hope you understand what/why I didn't fix. >.<
Really nice modding! <3 Thank you very much! :) :) :)

Since I can't meet you online,I'll say it all here: the mp3/s vlume is actually quite low... You should consider making the volume higher. If you want,I can give you a mp3 with higher volume...just ask me if you want.

Once you have done,call me back again!

Hello, here's my mod from my queue

~General~

  1. Shouldn't the source be "Cardfight!! Vanguard"? Searching on internet I just found information pages with that title: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cardfight!!_Vanguard http://myanimelist.net/anime/9539/Cardfight!!_Vanguard
    I'm not sure about this because I didn't see the anime, but I suggest you to inform yourself about it further.
~LF's Easy~

  1. 01:01:611 (3) - whistle on this slider head would fit very nice IMO, obviously, same for 01:12:774 (3)
~Normal~

  1. 01:23:937 (1) - You need to reduce this spinner by 1/2 so that it follows vocal rhyrhm. Moreover, the next circle 01:28:123 (1) is placed too soon on the time line after the spinner for a N diff IMO
~Hard~

  1. 00:25:158 (1,3) - These 2 circles sounds too empty imo, what about to add 2 whistles on them?

~Insane~

  1. 00:27:949 (4) - I don't recommend to overlap totally this slider with the previous (1) because it's hard to read at the first try. I would avoid this kind of "stacked sliders", pls.
That's it, orz.

    Hmm... I don't know which one is correct...
    I found both "CARDFIGHT!!" and "Cardfight!!" are used.
    But, in the title logo, "CARDFIGHT!!" is used. So I decided not to change.

    ok, but I added on (2,4). I think it's better than adding on (1,3) :>

    Hmm... ok, changed the placement. But I wanna keep the rounded formation. I think it's readable enough. >_<
That's it, orz.
Thanks for modding!! :)

~ EDIT ~
I changed E diff name because of his request.

Frankly speaking, according to his message, Largefield gave account to others since he can't play osu! anymore due to some reason. But, after a few weeks, he can play again, so he made a new account as jieusieu.

I was missing something: you must set 349 as video offset in Normal diff to keep consistency with other diffs. It's 337 at the moment.
Fix that and I will rank

EDIT: Ranked!

Maybe turn up the difficulty a bit by raising the AR by 1? Some stuff becomes much clearer but also a bit harder nah, I think it shouldn't be AR9 :p
too sad, this map deserves AR9
