In EBA, the fever function worked by adding to a metre (usually three or four stars) at the end of a combo. If the player gets an Elite Beat, it raises one full star, if the player gets a beat, it raises half a star. if no beat or elite beat is achieved... no bonus. What mcpower is trying to say would work perfectly fine if you
could vs a replay. It may even be able to go a step further than EBA or ouendan2 by making the replay miss if the replay's cursor misses the note, unlike the DS versions.
However, unless i'm mistaken, this has been raised a number of times, and
denied or unconfirmed each time...
