I think the issue that I'm having is that my brain instantly recognizes the line drawn for the underside of the chin as a mouth, which throws off the whole image for me. It's like the thing has two faces staring through

Actually a crop is way more in order than a resize. I'd like to keep the detail at the current scan size, just without the 80% whitespace surrounding it.
I'm going to start deleting these images if you don't start cropping and resizing them.
I agree with LH - these images are too big and to top it off most are redundant whitespace.
