We're doing this thang in a little less than two hours from the time of this post. Remember to grab your #videogames and also grab your Skype if that's an option for you.
Ah, the joy of blue shells!Blazevoir wrote:
And now we're done. So much rage, as usual~
I hate you so much.Soaprman wrote:
Anyone who wants a "Marred to: Toad Circuit" sig image, tell me (maybe via PM to not clog up the thread? I know demand will be hot). If you have a specific color request, mention that too!
It's full of bullshit, which makes it fun.bomber34 wrote:
Btw: What is so special about Toad Circuit that you guys are so crazy about that track?
I wish everyone who plays MK7 could join us ;~; (And yeah, my bad x.x)bomber34 wrote:
Why else do you think i wrote it withstrike?
I really would like to join the party but due to stupid time zones it is almost impossible to have a time that everyone is fine with ._.
Btw: What is so special about Toad Circuit that you guys are so crazy about that track?
Also expect a lot of last-minute stars and triple shrooms that take both shortcuts on the last lap to ride right by you.Blazevoir wrote:
Anyway, despite how "safe" Toad Circuit looks, expect tons of item rape compared to other tracks... seriously!

So when are we planning on the kartparty?
After the first stretch I realize I had gyro turned off. So I played in first person without drifting to compensate. 'Course, I was using a 5.5 accel/5.5 handling combo so it didn't hurt me too much. >_>rust45 wrote:
So how about Gryo on rainbow road?
Hooray for cheating!Blazevoir wrote:
Gyro controls + uber curvy track + hardly any walls = lolno
Actually, the game was showing me with the wheel icon at the end of the race, even though I had gyro turned off in the Options menu. Hence, as I've told Blaze a billion times, I was not using gyro so I had to handicap myself.Soaprman wrote:
The only "cheating" I can think of while using gyro would be using the stick to steer, because you can still do that. Maybe the players who get golden wheels do it by keeping their hands steady and playing normally...
Pretty sure I'll be around at that time, so I'm gamebomber34 wrote:
Well ... I would like to start a kartparty with a more european friendly time ._.
Friday 6th July 11 p.m. (GMT + 1) which seems to be 4p.m. (GMT - 6)
I have no problem to stay up until 2 a.m (GMT+1) if you guys have a problem with that time.
Well i guess so but there is one problem ... my 3DS can't get internet connection in my room due to stupid wireless internet ...rust45 wrote:
Do you europeans have Skype though?
I'M NOT ALONE! \o/bomber34 wrote:

I always have to go to the living room ... but i cannot chat there with you ... (I need a laptop -.-)
I'm not sure, I just checked and it's 3 P.M. for me. I can still make it though, I don't have a job atm.mm201 wrote:
Are you sure, Rust? It's 6pm EDT here.
Fridays are clear so I should make it fine.
I already announced it last Sunday or so, so yep! ^_^mm201 wrote:
So are we doing the regularly scheduled party tonight?~

9 PM Central time on Saturdays. That's all you gotta remember.0_o wrote:
I don't check the forums very often.. I just happened to be browsing this thread when I saw you guys were playing so I hopped on.
I'll see if I can be more pro-active with keeping up with this stuff in the future.
Also I'll have to play with a stat calculator to find an optimal kart combo..
I can testify that his combo works nicely. ^_^ I do need to try out my old Bumblebee/Roller/Flower Glider combo against you guys, though.mm201 wrote:
Basically Soap tries to balance "effective racing" with "being a douche who can knock you off the track."
I use Train because of its max acceleration, extremely tight handling, and long MT stat. I use wood instead of roller for their better offroad, plus my use of a featherweight character and Paraglider means I get the highest possible acceleration anyway.
You can use a time trial kart combination, but it's a gamble that you can get to first place, hold it, and hope not many blue shells come along. Time trial karts use one of the top speed frames (usually BDasher, but sometimes Zucchini, Blue 7, and Bruiser) with either slick, red, mushroom, or gold wheels. Slick/gold have the best speed, slicks have better handling/MTs, gold have slightly better offroad/underwater, reds are best offroad (which includes snowy/rainy tracks), and mushrooms have better handling.
Woods are like mini reds, rollers are like mini mushrooms, sponges are like mini slicks.
Soap was the one making those. So he's the one to ask about it.bomber34 wrote:
btw. can someone make me a "Married to Rainbow Road SNES" signature?

Yeah, that's what I was thinking too. Just covering all my bases. ~Soaprman wrote:
I said this in Skype but you didn't hear it... I think it was probably someone one of us faced in worldwide that found us in the rivals list and said "ooh, that mii looks neat, I'll race this person again".
At least I think you can join community via rivals.
New music park drum strat:So practicing that for next time. Tired of bombing races due to screwing up the drums. Thanks!
Hold your right drift into and out of the drum, release just before landing on the far side, land into a left slide. If done correctly, you should strafe to the right.
This is why I wish the scores wouldn't keep dropping each month... but then again some people would play whenever others aren't and so on.Ekaru wrote:
I'm bored. Let's play, "Rank our players!"
1. Greg (I think we can all agree on that one. STOP WINNING)
2. Blaze
3. Soap
4. Yoshi
5. CNM
6. rust
7. Ekaru (D:)
8. Gloop
9. Remmy (If he's scared of Gloop then that is *not* a good sign. MWAHAHAHAHA!)
I probably forgot somebody. Oh, if I was to put Elly in then I'd put Elly in the top 3 somewhere. Elly doesn't come on often enough for me to give Elly a ranking, though.
Oh, I forgot jj! Oops. Oh well! \o/
I'm not sure I'd rank you below me, but otherwise the list looks pretty good. MM is definitely the best of all of us.Ekaru wrote:

Yeah, our W/L ratio is 71-74, your favor. You son of a-Soaprman wrote:

I used to have a positive W/L before I started karting with you guys.Ekaru wrote:
However, do be warned that your W/L ratio will likely be tarnished by this experience.
Added Etiquette Rules just now, too, in hopes that we'll never have to suffer through somebody spamming Toad Circuit for like 2 hours straight again.Blazevoir wrote:
Haha, just noticed your OP edit(Then again, it's hard NOT to notice it, especially since you changed the thread title XD) <3 it~
