The Mafia of a small town have got a problem: there is a insider killing Mafia members. This Traitor must be killed before they exterminate the Mafia!

Crazy Mafia is a short Mafia game for veteran players.

Players
  1. 0_o (Lynched D1)
  2. Derekku Chan (Alive)
  3. LadySuburu (Lynched D2)
  4. BagelBob (Killed N1)
  5. Pasonia (Alive)
Event Log
  1. Night 0 Begins
  2. Day 1 Begins
  3. Night 1 Begins
  4. Day 2 Begins
New Rules and Stuff
Crazy Mafia uses the same rules as Newbie Mafia with some adjustments. Newbie Mafia rules used are in the following post. Changed rules are here.

  1. There are five players: one Traitor and four Mafia.
  2. Which roles are chosen are not publically known. Only the moderator knows (with certainty) the role set.
  3. No talking in this thread unless you are alive. No talking during the Night.
  4. There will be a Night 0 where aux roles can use their abilities but the Traitor will not make a Night Kill.
  5. Days are five days and Nights are two days.
  6. Neither role nor alignment will be revealed upon death.
  7. You may only sign up and play if you have played at least one Mafia or Warewolf game before. You do not have to have participated in CM1 to play CM2.

Game Flow
Before the game begins, people sign up by posting in this thread. When enough players are signed up, at the discression of the mod, the game will begin.

Mafia games begin at the Day phase and transition from Day to Night and back to Day. Days and Nights are numbered. The first Day is Day 1, the first Night is Night 1 which always follows Day 1, the second day is Day 2 which always follows Night 1, etc.

During the Day, players discuss and take action depending on their goal. Townies are trying to figure out who the Mafia are, and Mafia are trying to distract the Townies to prevent themselves from being killed. Each Day, players may vote for whoever they choose. After a player accumulates a certain number of votes, or the deadline is reached, that player is lynched and the game transitions to the Night phase.

During the Night, players may NOT talk in this thread. Players MAY communicate with other players IFF their role says so. All Night actions are to be done during the night. The Night phase ends either at the deadline or when all players with Night actions have submitted their action. After the Night ends, the game transitions to the Day phase.

End Conditions
Win and lose conditions will be announed. LyLo will be announced as well, which is a situation where the Mafia will win if a Mafia player is not lynched during the day. To speed up the end of the game, if the Town does not have the majority in terms of players, the game ends with a Mafia win.

General Rules

  1. Unless otherwise stated in your Role PM, this game takes place in this thread only. Do not discuss it anywhere else. Doing so will get you modkilled or immediately replaced, depending on the severity of the offense. (This is important for Mafia games.)
  2. Do not quote any PM, part or whole, you receive from the mod. This includes fake or erroneous quoting. Breaking this rule will get you modkilled.
  3. If you believe the mod has made an error, send him a PM. Please do not post about such things in the thread.
  4. If you have anything (other than the above) you need the mod to read or address, indicate that statement clearly in a post in this thread, e.g. "Mod: You're the best."
  5. A player who is modkilled will lose the game, regardless of whether their teammates eventually win.
Voting, Lynching and Deaths

  1. Any voting action must be bolded, as such: Vote: person
  2. You may vote to end the day without a lynch by voting as such: Vote: No Lynch
  3. You may unvote if you wish to remove your vote from someone. Unvoting before placing a new vote is not necessary, but is appreciated. Unvote as such: Unvote
  4. A lynch occurs immediately when a single player has an absolute majority of votes against them.
  5. At deadline, half of the votes that would normally be required are enough to lynch a player. In the event of a draw, the player who had the most votes before being tied will be lynched. If no player can be lynched by these conditions, no lynch will occur for that Day.
  6. Once a lynch occurs, the Day is considered to be over. Do not post again until the next Day begins, especially if you are the player who was lynched that Day.
  7. On death, the role of the player who died will be revealed.
  8. Any modkill will end the Day.
  9. Once a player is dead, they cannot contribute any more to the game. They are not to post anything.
Activity

  1. Please treat this game as a commitment.
  2. Each Day will have a preset and fixed deadline of 1 week. Deadlines are permanent except in specific circumstances at the discression of the mod.
  3. If a player has not posted in 48 hours, they will be prodded by the mod iff requested to do so by another player.
  4. Prods must be responded to in this thread.
  5. A player who doesn't respond to their prod within 48 hours will be replaced.
  6. If you are going to be unable to post for over 48 hours, please leave a note in thread.
Conduct

  1. Be courteous and respectful to other players.
  2. Blatantly antisocial and offensive behaviour or personal attacks will be grounds for a replacement or a modkill at the mod's own discretion.
  3. Finally, Mafia is for fun, so enjoy yourself!

So basically the mafia are "townies" without any types of aux roles and the traitor is the "mafia" that can kill? Isn't that unbalanced? Clear this up for me plz <3

I never said that.

The Mafia in this game are the Townies in NM.
The Traitor in this game is the Mafia in NM.

It's called the Random Voting Stage, it's pretty normal in mafia games to start off with joke/random votes (just look at the first days of the other mafia/WW games)

Also, care to elaborate on your claim that BagelBob is innocent?

I'm a Vanillia Mafia with the append that Derekku is Innocent. Upon asking strager, he confirmed that someone who is "Innocent" is a member of the mafia. He also told me that I couldn't post PANTS PANTS PANTS PANTS. Unless 0_o claims that he protected LadySuburu last night, or Derekku clears LadySuburu somehow, I'm ready to hammer. The reasoning for 0_o being that we had a night 0. Having a doctor and only a doctor act on Night 0 seems kind of silly. Either the traitor got a kill, but 0_o protected the right person, Derekku is a Vig with a NK, or strager added Night 0 to mess with us.

I think we should wait and see what Derekku has to say though, this is Crazy mafia so I suspect there is more going on here than meets the eye right now..

Derekku is confirmed because if Derekku is the traitor, I'd have to be a traitor too. The rules state there is only one traitor.

Pasonia is 95% confirmed because what she said matches almost exactly what I got.

We need to know from strager:
1. if the Doc can protect himself
2. What "Unknown" means

After that I suggest:
Lynching LadySuburu
if necessary, have 0_o protect Derekku
have Derekku investigate 0_o

If he's innocent, we should consider lynching Pasonia
If Derekku is NKed, we should consider lynching 0_o

We don't know if Derekku is sane
We don't know if 0_o is sane
We don't know if the traitor is a roleblocker

Anyone have anything to add/change?

I started this before I saw Bagel's post, but I'll post anyway

I think it's safe to clear Pasonia, since he was the first one to say he received someone else's innocence in their PM. Also, this post I believe clears BagelBob, since he states here at the very beginning that he already knew Derekku was innocent (even though it seemed like a joke at the time).

This leaves Derekku and LadySuburu (and me I suppose)

I asked strager right after I got my PM and he said that yes, I can protect myself.

Also, I don't think we can assume that yours and Pas's results are 100% guaranteed to be correct (being Crazy Mafia and all), so we aren't sure of your sanities either. Still, I am leaning toward lynching Suburu tonight, if no one else has any objections?

Since the setup of this game was not clear, I should go on and inquire about a few things that has been posted since my message.

I randomly picked Pasonia to scan on Night 0 and got an "Unknown" reading. I'm not sure what to make of that.
A roleblock? Not sure if this traitor can do that, but if a roleblock actually did affect you then that must be absolutely coincidental.

I am tempted to wonder about the plausibility of a Mafia+Roleblocker role in a 5-man game, along with the cop.
While Derekku's claim of his cop investigate getting an unknown reading is much food for thought (a cop getting roleblocked on N0 is about a 25% chance at best, assuming the roleblock power is single-target only) 0_o's claim of a doctor role is even more suspicious.

Assuming any one of the remaining three (myself BB and LS) were scum, and we lynch them after surviving D1 then D2 it's almost open season for the remaining Innocents to attack the scum. I firmly believe that at least BB and LS are not stupid enough to leave themselves in the open.

My thoughts are, put succinctly:

1. Derekku is attempting a very, very weak scumbait by playing along with 0_o, and BB is probably right that Derekku is Innocent
2. 0_o is probably trying to smoke us with additional roles.

Which therefore stands to reason that I should perform the following actions:

Unvote
Vote no lynch

If there's something about this whole setup, it's that LadySuburu is being pretty inconspicious too, but since I've not played much with Suburu before I can't tell if LS is a scum biding time or just being very busy IRL.

strager: Clarification, Night 0 the Traitor can't kill, amirite?
