I THINK that the best gift from bandai namco would be to introduce the inner oni mode on domestic game!!!! and an another Xtreme song (maybe from the future taiko 13) like kita or rotter...

and of course, the most important for myself and all the fan,to update the download session for PSP with rotter tarmination, carnivorous, XDAY, tenjiku, ekiben, all the namco series, the best and hardest classics (toccata y fugue to rock, fight of the bumblebee...) and many more songs....

if a taiko request section is existing for english (french) dude, I'll talk about psp download section..maybe nintendo got the taiko copyright...don't know...damn!!! it's painful... :|

I love the latter song. Why it was taken out of Taiko 12, I shall never know...

According to Bandai Namco's trends as I have noticed during the past 2-3 years, it's highly unlikely (I'm not saying that it's impossible) that they will release another Wii version next year. Releasing another one will be awesome with Taiko 12, 12 (Remake) and 13 songs; but it's highly unlikely.

Since Wii has got a lot of new and popular songs, I predict that they may release another DS version since the previous one had only 50ish songs. It'll be cool to play KitaSaitama on the DS, lol. :) I guess my touch screen will break.

And who knows??? They might release one for PS3 as well with over 100 songs... (which means, I need to get a PS3...)

It's definitely way better. You have full size drums and more songs to choose from, plus you get bragging rights if there are people watching you pwn :lol:

Only downside is you have to actually pay to play. RM1 for 2 songs isn't as cheap as I first thought.

The Garyoutensei series seems to keep moving forward. I'll bet if another DS version comes out, it'll probably have whatever latest addition to this series in the song roster.

Yeah,and some arcades out there have unforgiving prices.I'm looking at you,west kowloon.

Now about new console!taiko,I'm going for the DS here!Because 765 probably won't release another wii

There will be some in Hong Kong (around 20-30) as far as I know. There will also be some in Taiwan, Korea (around Seoul) and China.

But yeah, I'm going to have more pirates than pages, so I will need a version of that with a blank BG if possible. Keep the color splashes in there, though. Those should look really nice :D

Although when push comes to shove, I am pretty awesome, but it would be better to have your original version if you still have it.

Bad news though. If I upload to sendspace, the maps will only be there for 30 days and if it's not downloaded even once in that time, it's gone. So I'll have to reupload pretty often until I get some maps onto the BSS

Same deal. One month without downloads and the file's gone.

Only solution is to upload the maps to BSS, where they're permanent. But unless Taiko rankings are up, I can't have more than 5 unranked maps at a time, so I'm in quite a pickle. And the file size limit of the forum attachments are too small.

Oh well, guess we'll have to do with this for now. Major update coming to the maps soon (no new ones though).

BTW, does anyone still have the map for Dragon Spirit Medley? I seem to have lost mine.

EDIT: Anyone who knows Japanese, please help me...I can't pronounce the below kanji. Ai no....what? The song doesn't help either with its vague pronunciation.

arken is the one to talk to about the mp3! ;P

Unlocking oni doesn't take too long, but that video I posted is the oni map so you could just use that I guess.

Oku-no Death Michi- Many wow bang!

The English lyrics in the first half of the song may make no sense at all, but the purpose of Oku-no Death Michi is to transform classic Japanese haiku into English hip-hop. It's quite a contemporary and interesting way of learning haiku.

The haiku in question for this song is:
目には青葉 (meni wa aoba)
山ほととぎす(yama hototo gisu)
初がつお (hatsu gatsu o)

The lyrics for the song are:

Hey yo yo man. As summer approaches,
The green leaves in the surrounding blend with the sky
The cuckoo chirps in the mountains
And of course, the first catch of bonito. Say Ho!
High cool is so cool in the school! (translation of haiku, but don't ask me what 'bonito' means :P)

It's not forced to Taiko mod since I even mapped it properly, but it's authentic. It doesn't have a BG Image yet, though.

Okay, I am going insane right now and I need storyboard elements for Taiko's tutorial song (on the PS2 + PSP versions, can't read myriad of Kanji on my own D:), even though I can't even do it, hahahahahahaha. Fux.

Is there any way you could post the kanji here? Maybe I can help.

Rokodo: I'm so using this BG template for future maps :D But some maps don't go well with names next to them, so I'm just gonna remove it when necessary.
