That one is always there in classes, no ? I don't think you included lunch breaks in your "always", but workplaces do tend to let their employees eat if you have a halfway decent job. Of course this also allows for a good 30 minutes to browse non-work related sites while eating, but that doesn't change the fact that there are still people who should be paying attention at either place, but they don't

And that's entirely their own problem, although some halfway decent workplaces do allow employees to relax and browse not-work-related things while working.

The IT class in my year would play Halo CE and Quake all day, I'm pretty sure the teacher knew and didn't care.

My BCT teacher was playing WoW during a test one year.

a friend of mine got around the network block and played WoW at school once, other than that it was usually just some RTS or something.
and my math teacher/mentor was a WoW player aswell.

The problem isn't that my avatar and banner privileges got removed because of NSFW images, if it's a rule that they aren't allowed, well fine, delete them and I won't do it again, neither will I make a fuss about it.

The thing is that I sent the avatar I wanted to use to a BAT in PM, I asked him/her if it was alright to put it as an avatar.
He/she said it was alright.
I put it as an avatar, and it still gets deleted and I lose all my privileges. That's what I'm pissed about.

Imagine you're at school and your teacher says, hey today you guys are allowed to use a dictionary to translate those sentences
So you use the dictionary and translate everything correctly.
The next day the teacher tells you, sorry, but you all have 0/10 because you used a dictionary.
Would you be fine with that?

I often find myself questioning if some BATs even know the rules themselves

Do you know of a forum for an online game that allows sketchy/nsfw content?
Is it too hard to understand that no, it is not okay to have nudity, even implied, displayed on a PG-13 game?

By the way, the same way you're not supposed to go on osu! forums from your workplace, you aren't supposed to show adult material in the forum either. That's it.

funny thing is I don't see how that PG-13 thing counts for my case, since when going to the beach, you see the stuff that was in my avatar EVERYWHERE YOU LOOK. And there are people of ALL ages on the beach.

But w/ever I'll have to deal with having no avatar.

also, why are some people changing their avatars all the time? Isn't an avatar supposed to be something that will help us recognize the poster? It's kinda hard to recognize a poster if his/her avatar changes every single day.

Nah I didn't even play back then. osu! hasn't changed that much during the time I've been playing and that's a good thing. Any possible change in anything related to my daily life causes me loads of stress because it disrupts my routine.

So what you're saying is that I'm unconciously not able to tell what belongs in a forum and what doesn't, because I don't have the "increased availability of information and education regarding the consequences of risky behavior"?

To me it just seems that non-adolescents want to make this world more boring lol.

And about that not being "able to" or you shouldn't browse through websites at work. I for example work at a Casino reception where there's no internet. But when I take a break and go to the break room, there's a PC with internet. And ofc my supervisors take a break here also.
