My parents quite literally have prejudices against pets, so nothing to contribute from me 
I had a cat for 13 years, but it died some months ago.. ):

My flat-mate's cat, who just loves to cozy herself up under my desk and never fails to leap onto my lap whenever I start the game.
She also appears to have developed a rather curious penchant for Touhou music, meowing away and getting all excited whenever I play one of those maps. Go figure.
