Well, it wouldn't hurt to have this if it's easy to add. Would be good for people who have CTB/Taiko friends too to see which mode they are playing. Support.

While we're at this - am I the only one that never gets any votes back? Used 2 a year ago and never got any back dispite the fact it says you get them per month.

Sounds like a good idea.
The example pic in the first post is kinda ugly because the icons are flashy and distracting. However if they were simplified and monochromatic ones, it could look pretty good.

This is actually a really good idea, most of the time when somebody is playing some mad DT nobody will know about it because they think that he's playing nomod. This means MORE SPECTATORS YESSSSSSSSSSS.

Though the mode you're playing can sometimes be determined by the map name ([Ono's Taiko] would obviously denote that the person is playing taiko mode) its still far easier and quicker to glance at the tab and immediately see both the mode and mods in use. For people who spectate a lot this would be a significant benefit.

Was just about to make a thread with this exact feature in mind.
The only thing I would like to add is, the ability to see the mods used on top scores that show on the scoreboard when spectating people.
Many times I'm watching someone play with mods, and wondering if they are going for #1. So I end up having to end spectate go to the map and see what mods are used in #1 rank.

When I play [Hard] maps, ppl think I play with diff increase mods when I play it normally
I like the parts with the mods but I thought it already showed what you were playing.
Mods: hidden,hardrock,doubletime etc. these aren't shown
Modes: standard, ctb, taiko, mania these are shown
