Though you'd be surprised how successfully I can ask for a (slightly) higher price when the original packaging is present. Speaking from experience mind you, not just some silly delusion of mine.
When #2 and #3 are already present, potential buyers tend to associate the presence of the original packaging with good maintenance and the relative 'newness' of the product. Just what I think, not quoted from anywhere.
But of course, the latter 2 points are priorities I know - pretty common sense.

Alright so... heck yeah!
New set-up is most boss with a Samsung 40inch UA40D6000SM becoming my new second monitor and screen for the PS3.
Well worth the $795 I spent to get it.
Now I need to get a new computer (anyone notice the slight 'remodelling' on the crap Alienwware?) so that it will look nicer and maybe a longer desk even though my current is 1.5m long as is.
PS3 is sitting underneath the desk on top of my subwoofer box just gathering dust like a player.

And yeah, you should get a longer desk. Seeing that little bit of monitor span over the length of the desk is really awkward-looking.

I spy with little eye... a Roccat Kone and a Logitech Illuminated kb, both of which I also used to own. Am I wrong?
For a moment there that I thought your stereo set on the right would be blocking the door from opening - but then I realized that it opens inwards. Though, isn't it still a little prone to someone bumping into it when when exiting the room? I know a clumsy oaf like me would, especially during sleepy mornings.
P.S. Something about the table appeals to me.

About the stereo set, nah. Sure, it takes a bit of width away from the door, but that's 12 out of 82 centimeters we're talking about there.
If I were to bump into it though, I'm sure I would get hurt more than the stuff ! For reference, it's not so much of a "stereo set" as it's just where I decided to put my computer, receiver, and a subwoofer that I don't use.

Also, the angle from which the photo was taken could make it misleading but it looks like you have to stretch quite a bit into the desk to reach your workstation - so I'd assume you normally pull your kb and mouse forwards, yes?

Makes sense, I s'pose. I do agree that the legs are really nice, but that's particularly because it's the kind of stand that allows the desk to be raised/lowered as I like. The desk itself is a little small for my tastes though (coming from one that was around 3 meters in length), but I plan to have the top replaced with something a bit larger in the - hopefully - near future. At least before I switch out the small (17") monitor with a third 24", since there's not really enough space on the desk for three of those.ychao24 wrote:

I run a 27" iMac + a 22" side monitor.
