That blue storyboard text at the start is too hard to see with the background. Fix this please.

Also why does the ... sequence in the storyboard appear twice.

Don't really care for your background images. Storyboarding could be better.

Uncheck Enable Countdown in all difficulties.

Grey and white colored combos are awfully similar IMO. The contrast isn't very large.

Grid 2 is screwing with your spacings. Turn grid snap off and fix some of them. Spacing differences are more notable when the spacing gaps are large. some of your spacings I think are fine like this for example 02:12:151 (2,3,1) -

Patterns could vary more. The copy pasta is just lazy mapping.

00:08:195 (2,3,1) - Spacing feels weird. Note 1 feels forced to me. Fix the spacing? Some other triples feel fast. I can hit them just fine, but I'm not sure about new players. At this point I'm only requesting that you go through and find the ones that play fast and make them easier to hit.

00:24:019 (2,3,1) - 3,1 looks weird being unsymmetrical. Resnap to 0.8 and make it look nicer?

00:31:931 (2,3,1) - Turn grid snap off and fix this spacing. Also you may want to curve the notes?

00:34:569 (2,3,1) - This is not lined up with the pattern mentioned above. You can just copy the previous pattern, delete these notes and then flip the pattern horizontally.

I didn't give a very thorough mod to this difficulty. The hitsounds need a lot of work. It's too loud in places. Also I think its too hard to be ranked in its current state. Although I'm unsure about that.


Once you get through my mod I can then start picking at all the other things I missed when modding this map. It's going to be a very long time before I star this mapset.

You better have fixed those WTF spacings. It can be made rankable easy enough. I would say it would be if you would remap that 5.00 jump that is random in any sense of the word, any 1/4th notes that exceed 2 .00 distance snap (maybe as their own combo they would work, but in combo is a big No.) and Those streams I told you to remap. Those things are impossible to hit and just spam the screen.


Hopefully the state of the map is well enough for me to pick at the smaller things that need to be covered. Maybe it will get a star from me sooner than I thought. Maybe.....

In my opinion this rhythm isn't good in difficulty for beginners. I think they will feel themselves uncomfortable on this map...I can offer you my variant. - Extend 00:03:610 (2) - this slider to a large white tick and delete clap on end of slider. And 00:09:379 (3) - this notes move to white tick on the right and so on.

In any case please check spacing on this difficulty because some aspects (such as 00:08:225 (1,2,3), 00:16:137 (1,2,3) and others) have different spacing and this shouldn't be on easy difficulty.

It's better than I first remember it being. There are some areas where I felt you made the beat too simple. There should be at least some rhythm in the patterns even in an Easy. Also I realize that tickrate 0.5 is unrankable. I think that the difficulty would be worse off if you raised it to 1.0. You might have to unfortunately. If you do, you can use a silenced custom slider tick and use a transparent slider tick.

You should lower the volumes of the ticks near the start of the difficulty. Other than that there's a whole lot of things to mention about this difficulty. I still found some beats to be too simplified. There were strange sliders and area for fluid rhythms that were either ignored or mapped in a way that didn't take advantage. The hitsounds in areas were downright bad. This difficulty took so very long to mod.

I think there is too many slider variations in this difficulty. I feel that there's a lack of consistency in patterns overall in this diff and that's the most notable flaw with it. (Some of the patterns just look like experiments rather than a coherent attempt at a beatmap.) Speed up section sliders is too fast for the pacing. I recommend making the sliders slower.

The intro should contain more volume changes so it's not just lots of thumps.

I dislike the 1/2th portions of this. I just didn't find the patterns to be that enjoyable to look at. I didn't like most of the 1/4th parts at the beginning of the song. I felt that the first deathstreams fit well, but the following deathstream just felt like you were just pushing it to be difficult rather than following the nuances of the song. But then again this diff was not designed for me. Feel free to get a second, third, and fourth opinion on what I say.

01:06:247 (5,6,7,8,9,10) - Okay I'm going to mention this. I don't like increasing the pacing just to immediately slow down again. It doesn't make rhythmical sense. Either increase the pacing for all the notes or don't increase the pacing at all.

I will recheck, but I can't say I will be able to determine all the things that needs to be done to make me happy or to consider this beatmap as flawless. It's a working progress though and I pointed out a lot of the issues.

It's better than I first remember it being. There are some areas where I felt you made the beat too simple. There should be at least some rhythm in the patterns even in an Easy. Also I realize that tickrate 0.5 is unrankable. I think that the difficulty would be worse off if you raised it to 1.0. You might have to unfortunately. If you do, you can use a silenced custom slider tick and use a transparent slider tick. what i actually think in here, is about taikosu! mode.. well, i really care for this kantan-ness of taikosu, because slider tick 1 breaks the harmony of the kantan taikosu in here..

I don't like how this map kinda follows the old-style mapping from 2007 and 2008. Please play more on the recent maps made from late 2009 onwards and be inspired from how the techniques are used. mixing between 2-era of my mapping, which is 2011 style like this and 2012 which currently i'm still improving within..

In addition to what I've explained in Complex Dream (Yep, same old-style as Complex Dream), you need to add more new combo constantly in this difficulty only to prevent player's health from dropping too quickly. HardRock style of Complex Dream :P

...Maybe I just thought of something: You may need to do the same for your easier maps too since the style you used in the harder maps may be how weird they are. no.

You have begun with really simple patterns rising up in three steps up to a really hard stream. That is fine as long as there is not such a huge level spread like in your kiai. The beginning of the kiai is way easier as other patterns before and the part at 01:36:577~01:41:851 isn't a real transition to this insane stream at 01:41:851~01:47:126. It is probably considert as unrankable, but I'm not sure about this.
Anyway, I suggest you to make the first and second part way harder so it fits more to the overall of the map's patterns, so you also avoid this huge level spread.
If you want to make this part easier, you should rather make an easier diff. as chosing suddenly the way of easy-mapping in a hard map.

01:47:126 - cut the kiai here, fits better and also we have a low sequenze here.
01:47:621 (x) - one note here, d prefereable because of hearable low beat.
01:57:675 - here you can start the kiai again.
01:57:675~02:05:588 - Same as above. Make this part harder please else overall it dosen't fit well. 1/1 -> 1/4 = no no :(
02:18:774 - Just saying, this is harder as the kiai part. One more reason to change the above said suggestions.
