But for some reason PnM is still easier than IIDX. BY A LOT.

Guys, has anyone noticed that most of the Namco Original/Game Music tunes have had a star decrease on Oni mode (and other minor changes for the others)? By watching again the UStream, I realized that White Rose Insanity had 7 stars for regular Oni and 8 for Ura.Well Namco did say the difficulty stars were going to be majorly revised so I was kinda expecting that. Didn't know which songs were affected though.
Dude my eyes can read that and that's a 43-star... But for IIDX my eyes still have problems reading 11 star, remembering that 12 star is the highest diff.crystalsuicune wrote:

Wait what Ao no Senritsu and IN THE ZONE 9* ._.
Yeah knew it. But it was clear this would one day happen. But to be honest, It would also not wonder me, if they make later a new star system with 12* star maps(Not like it would really happen).aquabluu wrote:

PnM gogogo (I heavily recommend arcade though, starting with the PSP wasn't healthy for me, but it was my only option, and it actually allowed me to play 23+ straight off the bat the first time I held an arcade)
EDIT: (regarding the previous vid) I must admit though the 340-350-360 BPM part is a fucktard even for my eyes. Though it's still easier to read than Mendes Ura
and lolwtf at the notes. There's more where that came from. Though not as much as it's neighborhood...

When you extract the file, do you get a folder that's named with some sort of a code, like "NPJH*****" or something like that? (too lazy to go back and download the file myself.)
If so, then yeah. It goes straight to the PSP/GAME folder.
Hmm,not sure about whether Black Another is only on CS…Zekira wrote:

...there's a gazillion more on its neighborhood, IIDX... I think it's the fact that this game can get away with putting the notes in any key without worrying about conflicting keys makes the chartmakers go crack, I think
It's making me cringe that my favorite IIDX original happens to be the part of the hardest songs ever (in its Ura, which is only available on CS lol)

^I swear it literally has you playing the entire song; not pressing any note gives you an almost silent music. Playing the piano is 10x easier, I'm not even kidding
Yeah that song's awesome, I give you that. It's a PnM8 song. afaik it also appeared in PnMPSPBackfire wrote:

777?IIRC it also appeared in Reflec Beat (or is it something else?)Zekira wrote:

Good timing for me to get some interest in PnM, there's a Portable 2 coming out......on the same day Taiko Wii 4 comes out.ikr, too many shit coming out in the next 2 weeks...
…Dude the vid is recorded on a PnM16 machine.Zekira wrote:
@crystal: lol you. Was it already rated 43 in 16?
@anongos I knew it's gonna be Sasoribi before even watching the vidYeah. That was way too predictable anyway.

@Zekira: How's the control scheme of PnM on the PSP anyway? With all this talk I feel like expanding to other rhythm games as well.

IIRC Sariya-jin's actually a pretty common vocalist for Silver Forest, yeah.Lokamp wrote:
Let's fly back to the Taiko grounds, shall we? It looks like we have the identity of Chiheisen no Aeolia's singer.
It's Sariya-jin again! The same singer of the misfortunate Ao no Senritsu. Discovered on her blog...
Gosh, it looks like blogs won't ever be out-fashioned for free professionists...
Why can't anyone just download the UStream video itself then upload that portion, instead of making a recording of a recording? >_>aquabluu wrote:

Since you're basically decoding the vid, encoding your recording, and then decoding the vid to save it or something?
But you know that you can download the video straight from UStream right?WTF HOW TELL ME

As you know there's no direct download button on UStream. The way to download the video is a little roundabout. You would need to use a program called wireshark to find the url that contains the video.Zekira wrote:

I WAS SO FUCKING HAPPY I SPENT 20$ ON IT.
