I'd love Touhou Mafia to be PYP
But that isn't fair to those who have to wait.LadySuburu wrote:
I would prefer to have one game hosted by me running at all times. (Because if I get out of the groove of running games and have to wait in a queue, I'll likely just say screw it and not host any.)
Yep. I'm not saying that I'm going to, I'm saying that if others don't mind I'd like to.NoHItter wrote:

There's only a handful of us who play regularly (20?), and assuming they are 12-20 player games like most of the current ones, any more than three games at once is going to require people to be playing 3+ full games simultaneously.Wojjan wrote:
Why do we even have a modding queue. There's really not any disadvantage to having many games run at the same time.
Actually, I was planning on doing this. I intended to do this maybe the second or third game, but if there's enough interest (and it seems like a lot of people would want this) I'll go ahead and do it.Wojjan wrote:

The Killer Is Among Us:
Group is split into two teams: Killer and Detectives (with a Chief Detective)
The Killer wins if they kill the Chief Detective.
The Detectives win if they successfully investigate the Killer. They lose if their Chief Detective gets killed.
Killer's inclusive ability: kill one player off during the day
Chief Detective's inclusive ability: decide whether to go on with the investigation or not.
"The Killer Is Among Us" is a type more suited for a small group due to the direct control of one player over a possible game-ender, which is too complicated for a large group to utilize to its potential. To my knowledge, both teams have a fair chance of winning: the Killer can influence the investigation suggestions to his advantage by knowing the Chief Detective's identity early on, and the Detectives can take out the Killer among them if they work together and cooperate (especially since the Chief Detective has the ability to continue with an investigation, which can be used to save himself or isolate a Killer out).
PROCEDURES
Each day, all the players can decide to suggest a player up for investigation. To have a successful investigation suggestion, the votes against the player must total to half the remaining players (rounded down) plus one. The Chief Detective then will advise the GM if they want to go with the investigation or not. If the Chief Detective agrees, the player is put up for investigation. If the player being investigated is not a Killer, the Detectives lose the ability to investigate for the next day.
At any time during the day, the Killer chooses one player to be killed off.
The next day, the GM announces if whether the Killer has been successfully investigated (Detectives win) or if the Chief Detective has been killed (Killer's win)

Anonymous Mafia (Everyone plays using a dummy account so you don't know who anyone is. Also allows for extra creative roles that would otherwise be impossible. I'm not sure if I can pull this off)
This sounds awsome. I would probably get discovered on D1 because of my ESLness I bet lolLybydose wrote:

Roleplay? ^_____^foulcoon wrote:
i wrote my first post and will probably write an 18 player role setup this weekend for TWEWY mafia, so yeah, you dont have to put me at the end anymore.
I'm not risking my should-probably-be-defunct admin powers on some gay ass theme game.foulcoon wrote:
alternatively we could make ival do it, or you can ask peppy if you can have admin, but i doubt such a reason is worthy.
If it's 5 players and nightless you can start it anytime. It'd be over in a snap. (Imo anyway.)0_o wrote:
sooo can I start my minigame tonight
We'll randomize everything, of course.Salvage wrote:
i'll probabbly get the worse role ever in that game since fishie probabbly hates me badly lmao.
I respectfully disagree.Ivalset wrote:

I was thinking that my 5-p game could be expanded into a 7-p game for more interest.
Actually, my mistake isn't targeting a "killme" role. It's more along the lines of claiming D2.Wojjan wrote:
Maybe you should avoid getting killed next time you play
Like don't target a killme role ^_^

Do NOT discuss games which are currently in progress anywhere except that game's thread.
I think 7 may be a better limit, as C9 setups can require the same amount of time & thought investment as the bigger games. Minigames should be kept small enough for people who are already in a couple games, or who are too busy to take part in a standard game, to follow.Lybydose wrote:
also, I'm thinking "mini games" could be any game with 9 or less players, with the main queue being 10+. thoughts?
I'd take the lack of response as a "sure".NoHItter wrote:
