Also, I know some people who gave the series a shot and said they didn't like it. It could be a hard sense of denial, but I'd feel like a furfag trying to push his hobbies on uninterested people if I took it further. People have the right to like and dislike whatever they want and I respect that, but ponies is one of the higher end tests that show lots of other people don't respect that-- on both ends.
Many "bronies" are pushy assholes who act like it's the second coming and that people who don't like it are horrible people which is just flat out wrong and the other end of "omg u wach litle girl show" is something I shouldn't have to explain. And a lot of the brony fandom has been really attention whore-ey recently which isn't putting them on any better terms with me. I think it's taken a dip since more people started paying attention, but I guess that's everything.
