Hey guys. This is my first beatmap made and I hope you enjoy it guys. 1* is for the beginners to Osu! designed to be slower and easier to follow, 2* would be roughly a normal difficulty map for the people who are trying to improve after starting, 3* is designed to be along the lines of hard for the Osu! setting and the last difficulty is Champion Mode. This is only for people who want a harsh challenge that's along the lines of a Tag4 Map. Just a wee bit harder though.

Well, you wanted my opinion, I'll post with full detail. I figured out a lot just by playing and comparing the difficulties, and some of my biggest pet peeve's are in just the design, but there are a few actual gameplay flaws I have to point out.

3*:

- Lack of sound effects on very key beats within the chorus, mostly on "No more Lies" and "with my own eyes." A good example of utilizing these sounds correctly is in champion mode, almost all of the stressed lyrics have an extra sound effect for style, which I felt were effective.
- 9m points. this is probably the most obvious problem, (and one I got chewed out on before.) Simply, there are too many points on the line for the difficulty. Sure, it's not a serious overscore, but the score could be a lot more reasonable by using more sliders in place of the boring 1/1 notes, to reduce the overall score. You may also want to throw in a break or two to cut down on the map, as well as give players a chance to recooperate.
- Spacing seems just a bit small for such a high level of difficulty. consider reorganizing or respacing to increase difficulty, so that 9m seems less of a free giveaway, and more of a goal.

Champion: Truly, you deserve kudos for this one. The beatmap is tasteful in design and dreadful to play, just as you would expect from a TAG4. Midway point especially evil, possibly impossible, but thanks to a low drop rate, with enough practice you could just cover 2 of the four circle positions and pick your way through. Devilish, but not quite impossible. But here's a serious problem, one you WILL want to address if you want this beatmap to succeed

9m points. almost exactly the same score as 3*. That tells me two things, you either used too many sliders or not enough beats, and you have a note on almost every beat. cut down on the sliders, a LOT, it should bring the score up a considerable deal, and a high score is important in a TAG4-type beatmap, or else it will likely be completely ignored and forsaken for the 3* difficulty for the easier points, or more likely will be denied approval in the first place.

I'll give you my star because I really think you'll find a way around the problems you currently have and I trust that you will take what I have said into consideration. Keep working towards approval, take the high road and roll with the punches, keep fighting until the fight is over.

OR, if you're just ganna use .5x bpm for the whole map, then use 93.3BPM, but that would just effect the slider speed, so might as well find a suitable slider velocity instead
Then Resnap All Notes,then most notes should go right onto the red and white beat snap divisor ticks~

Since I just gave you new timing... recheck the map
And some advice-
for the harder difficulties, use a smaller grid size please (press G in editor), it should make the spacing on the map much better
the beats you placed sound okay, BUT... continuous hitcircles gets really really boring (though some of the placement patterns are okay), try mixing short sliders here and there (along with repeating sliders) << this goes for 1*, 2*,and 3*
Your hitsounds are okay

Champ has some REALLY extreme jumps and patterns, they look nice, BUT THEY'RE NOT PLAYABLE (even for TAG4.. cuz lack of new combos in impossible jumps)
In champion 01:18:090 (1,1) - << you can't do this, hiding a slider on top of another slider
01:27:090 (1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1) - ..... that is for TAG4..... you can't rank this intensity
Same goes for the ending.... its unrankable, and I'm quite certain its unapprovable too

You should play more insane maps, they're much "easier" than what you just made...
the map's aren't just for looks.... though I must say your patterns are interesting

Heya, welcome to beatmapping. I personally try to be as thorough as possible in my mods, so don't be disheartened if this turns kinda long. Focus on bolded points first.

Fix the offset, there's no need for a negative offset here. Plus, your notes are landing on 1/4 when they should be on 1/1. I recommend using 118. Resnap all notes.

Preview points are not set across the difficulties.

Timing: BPM and offset both feel somewhat off. Try BPM 186.48, Offset 118.Also, you shouldn't have so many notes landing on 1/4. Remember to move your inherited section first; no inherited sections may land before the first uninherited section.

Why is the entire song mapped in 0.5x inherit? Just halve the BPM of your initial timing section, or halve slider velocity.

Please distance snap all the notes of every difficulty. While doing this, consider either using a smaller grid or turning grid snap off altogether.

00:09:001 (10) - Lands on 1/3.
00:08:063 (9,10,11,12) - Distance snap is needed.
00:19:089 (6) - Nice spot for a spinner here.
00:29:086 (2,3) - Distance snap. (won't mention it anymore, please correct on your own)
00:58:032 (1) - You have 30 seconds of notes landing on 2/1. Needless to say, it gets boring after the second combo or so. :P
01:32:095 (1) - Move this back by 1/2.
01:37:045 (2,3,4) - Not cool distance spacing. :(
01:45:058 - Didn't seem like an appropriate time for Kiai.
02:07:022 (1) - 30 seconds more of the most boring pattern ever. :(

02:48:054 (1) - Silence this spinner, and maybe extend it to be a bit longer.

[2*]

Not very exciting again, but you also have many changes in spacing that are noticeable. Also, fix the combos so that they follow the music.

[3*]

00:52:021 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - Pattern is hard to read.

[Champion Mode]

1. Wtf?
2. Please use distance snap. XD
3. WTF?
4. ???
5. PROFIT!

02:36:039 (2,3) - No 2 notes landing on the same beat are allowed.

You can't have any sections that are humanly impossible. I'll list out the sections I think fall under this criterion:

01:13:046 (1) - Very borderline, this section.
01:25:053 (3,1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2,3)
02:24:017 (4,5,6,4,5,6)
02:42:051 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - Seems completely unreadable.
02:46:021 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,1,2,3,4) - I lol'd.

Short of removing this difficulty entirely, you could either make this a LOT easier, or go for approval. I personally don't think it's possible to map a map like this as your first map and get it approved, but it's something you can try for anyways.

If you do decide to keep it, here are some previously-approved maps to look at for how to make a fun, difficult map:

...and many more, I just randomly pulled a few out of my head. (those were all for single-player, except Lesjuh's TAG on StrangeProgram. I think that even if you make a TAG4 map though, it should at least be feasible to be passed on single player.

Finally, TAG4 maps can't be ranked, only approved, I believe. So I recommend submitting it seperately.

Thanks for actually recommending things to fix. Obviously guys go completely apeshit when a TAG4 is made, so I'll cut that out, really don't want to worry about downgrading it all.

As for the timing, you were close, but I've tested out the actual BPM to be 186.52. just a few decimal points off each way, but it makes a huge difference near the end. thanks for the offset though, I just couldn't make any sense of it.

I really don't want to got through all the rest of the changes so quickly, so I'll have it done by the end of the weekend, so that I don't miss anything important.
