How to counter/defend "Human Spirit Passing By" and Yukari's train move? My friend chains it from his running b (the signposts out of the ground)
You can just graze/block komachis alt 236B/C
as for yukaris train, he will usually do 66C (signpost) and activate the train, at this point you can't do much UNLESS

I almost beat Touhou 10 in Normal mode once in 1cc, but then I fucked up the final Spell of Kanako (the final Boss) and then I was all like FFFFFFFFFUUUUUU.

ZUN said (if I understand his text correctly) that the lower levels will actually be easier compared to previous titles... I think he's finally understanding that his recent level gaps between Normal and Hard are too small in between or something, lol

This is a Beta caster for hisoutensoku 12.3. The caster is meant to reduce lag and delay so network play between 2 different continents will work much better. Note though that the caster is currently in BETA stage, so the netcode hasn't really been optimized and it's still really buggy. Depending on how good your connection is, it can either work really smooth or really laggy. Sometimes it's even better to not use the caster for netplay, but yeah ^^.
Install/how to use is all explained in the tutorial.

If only for the fact that when I play against my friend he no longer has a delay advantage from being the host
Holy wow, I might actually try this out even though I'm really rusty already. (the caster, I mean)
Like i said guys, still in BETA and still very buggy. For some people it doesn't really work well, but when it does, it runs very smooth and has nice delay.
Here's a picture of how the caster looks like once you log on (it's usually more crowded but i'm on early in the morning)
So it will be easy finding people to play, or if you want to host, you can just create a room and wait for someone to join.

Too bad i'm really lazy to learn all the moves again, but if lobby client like this would've existed back when i used to play swr alot, i might still be playing this game alot.. Have to try it out sometime though.

I find it odd that Touhou Sky Arena has been out for some time now and no one hasn''t mentioned it here yet, o well anyway.
Played it a bit and damn it's fun, hectic action game, just like MBA but i kinda prefer this one.
Translation process has already started altho the tutorial in-game is pretty understandable without knowing any of japanese.
Haven't tried the network lobby yet cause i've only been messing around with bots which is fun too but i read on doujinstyle its fully functional and netplay should work great.
Gotta test network mode functionality tomorrow

Damn that was fun. Was messing around with Youmu and getting a few melee to hi-tension spell comboes among other things, it's surprisingly easy to pick up o.o

1) Climax is allowed twice in a song. Climax Tension and Climax Finale.
This Climax time gap can not exceed more than 10% of the entire song's length
2) High Tension can be used a total of 4 times in a song. The High Tension time gap can no exceed more than 20% of the entire song's length
3) You must have more Low Tension time than High Tension time in your song and all values are rounded to the tenth.
So doing the math
Climax you are allowed 10% of the songs length. i.e. song is 5 min 5 seconds above, that translates to 305 seconds....
305 x .20=60 seconds of High Tension Time, Climax would be half that so 30 seconds.)
4) Load up the wav file in the config file at the tab BGM, the text part goes in the second slot
5) Click the button to the right to see if it will accept your song (program scans your text file to song ratio)
if it says something followed by !!!! your song has been accepted
if not it will say
this file is 60 seconds but it should be 40 seconds long or whatever, so recalculate and change in notepad till it all works.
and you will need to fiddle with the tension bars until you get it working, test it out to your liking.

Play 7, at least you'll get a visual hit box when focused.
Once you're comfortable go back and play 6, I found it a lot easier that way.
Otherwise - bang your head against the wall until you can pass, practise is the best way >.<

2. Don't play th6 or th7
Most newer computers (probably about anything from like 6 years ago or newer) have significant input lag when playing 6 or 7. The vsync patch fixes it.
