Introduction
The map used for this is https://osu.ppy.sh/b/608565 (mapped by GoldenWolf).
The main idea of this was to illustrate the general, more abstract statements from Exa in Discussion 2 more in-depth on an actual beatmap.

Analysis
00:26:870 - to 00:36:748 - has a pretty simple structure idea:
----------------------------------------
You may note that the same part repeats itself once in this song: 01:29:796 - uses the exact same idea of stacking objects of similar sounds but the positions of the objects are different while the idea for patterning is the exact same.
----------------------------------------
----------------------------------------
00:42:236 -
----------------------------------------
00:50:284 -
----------------------------------------
01:00:528 - in this section undermapping is used.
----------------------------------------
01:12:235 - next section starts off with a slider to contrast the previous section's end.

----------------------------------------
01:57:613 -
00:26:870 - to 00:36:748 - has a pretty simple structure idea:
- The entire thing is based around using only circles and having the same sound patterns reload in the same or similar positions.
- Examples of this would be 00:26:870 - the first 5 circles and 00:29:431 - the 5 circles after this timestamp. They're about the same sounds so GoldenWolf put them in the same places. This highlights about everything not in these places, which is mainly 00:28:699 (3,4) - because they're differently highlighted sounds.
- You can take this very simple idea and apply it to the entire part.
- Goldenwolf uses Combos to group similar sounds together in paris of 3 and 4 generally; so he basically sticks to one core idea for this entire thing.
You may note that the same part repeats itself once in this song: 01:29:796 - uses the exact same idea of stacking objects of similar sounds but the positions of the objects are different while the idea for patterning is the exact same.
- 00:37:114 - to 00:42:236 - song suddenly picks up pacing and so does the map, this time most of the objects are equidistant and in a stream arranged
this could mostly be due to the sounds being similar. - 00:37:845 (1) - 00:40:406 (1) - these one object combos are used as a design method to highlight these sounds. Also the stream has a direction change on both of them to somewhat put them even more into focus.
- 00:38:942 (1,3) - do have the same sounds as the two other ones so they're not only getting their own combo but also a bit of spacing between 2-3 and 4-1
to highlight the pitch increase 00:41:504 (1,2,3,4) - are spaced further.
00:42:236 -
- Pacing slows down a bit so the rhythms used in this section are overall simplistic again.
- The main thing that sticks out about it is that in every measure 00:43:699 - 00:44:065 - these sounds repeat so they are put on objects that are clickable.
- The rest of the sounds repeats as well but the other 4 notes are substituted for sliders for variety reasons (mostly because at some point a circle only section becomes somewhat boring).
- The song offers more background sounds than that but it's simplified to contrast previously intense stuff.
- 00:42:236 - and 00:46:626 (1,2,3) - are both triples in the song, the latter one is mapped out i suppose because having circles after the circle only section provides no contrast. While in the 2nd place there's nothing that holds that back on a design level.
00:50:284 -
- The only difference to the part before is that there seems to be a new dominant instrument coming in and the faint 1/4 layer is actually going full 1/4, so the entire section is 1/4 sliders to capture both layers while not being over the top.
- As in all circles would put the faint layer of the song into the main focus so he sticks to having clicks on the most pronounced sounds only, the sliders themselves are grouped in pairs of two because (idk instrument name) is doing a similar grouping for sounds: 00:51:748 (3,4) - and 00:52:480 (5,6) - do similar pitch changes in ~pairs of two~. So once again it takes stuff that the song does and uses it to structure the entire part with a relatively simplistic idea
- The section ends in a smaller 1/8 drumroll which is mapped out in a compressed stream, since it's like 82 bpm this is just an 164 bpm stream so it falls within doable.
01:00:528 - in this section undermapping is used.
- Lots of instruments are going on in the background and GoldenWolf basically simplifies this to only follow the things with most impact.
- Slidershapes have gone from "slight curves only" as in the previous part to actually using red anchors and more obvious curves
- The sounds on 01:01:991 - are held for 2/1, but mapping that with a similarly extended slider would end up with something really long to hold so he sticks to 3/4 for this entire section and fills the other with circles
- He also groups stuff differently over comboing by putting a NC on blue ticks for 01:03:271 - and so forth because these have drum sounds he wants to highlight in some way
01:12:235 - next section starts off with a slider to contrast the previous section's end.
- In this. he chose to put the background layer into the main focus because it's getting more prominent in the song as a whole.
- Comboing is generally shorter because way more objects appear on the screen so he compensates by having more combos. again uses them to group stuff together.
- He sticks to the whole background layer and maps the faint 1/8 triplets that show up twice.
- The way 1/4 sliders are placed is just to avoid making this a circle only section entirely. I assume 01:14:796 (8) - would have gotten an 1/4 slider too if 01:14:979 (1) - didn't have the same drums as 01:03:271 (1) - in the previous section
- 01:15:162 - these jump patterns are grouped in groups of 4 and mostly represented by being different patterns. the intensity of the jump patterns in this section is mostly related to pitch. mostly uses different pitch jumps in groups of 4 for this section to represent grouping in song.
01:40:771 -
- Next section goes back to more simplistic structure, the song drops all most all of the previous instruments and does a doublet rhythm for 01:42:086 - this stuff.
- He represents the held sounds consequently with either 1/2 or 3/4 extended sliders.
- A general structural thing of the section is that 01:41:823 (3,4) - 1:43:928 (5,6) - 01:50:244 (3,4) - are all jumps at about the same spacing.
- 01:52:349 (5,6,7) - is interesting in this regard because you'd expect one here but the piano is doing something different and he took the opportunity to do something different for this one
01:57:613 -
- As the pacing of the song picks up you will notice that he increases SV to go along with that and maps them intense according to their bpm and pitch similarly to the previous part. as in 02:05:641 - literal slowdown goes back to 1.0 sv
- spacing is mostly grouped to what the piano is doing.
e.g. 01:56:823 (5,6,7,1) - crescendo
02:00:113 (3,4) - pitch changes - You don't really have to search for reasons for most of them because the structure of them is the most obvious element in the map as a whole
the rest of the piano section until 03:09:722 - puts sliders on held piano notes and otherwise uses pitch related jumps.
