General:

You ask me just for some quick opinions I think so:

Diff:

  1. Calling the diff name as the song is kinda weird lol, maybe try to find a better diff name
  2. at the beginning you can use some more whistles, sounds really empty atm, also reduce the volume of current ones a bit
  3. 00:12:402 (1,2) - In general around the whole map you can see overlaps like this one, they are ¨fine¨ but tbg they looks really bad and is something that you want to avoid at your map, design its really important imo.
  4. 00:16:171 (3) - there are also some objects that doesn't really follow nothing in the song, I'll highly suggest you to avoid this.
  5. 00:16:485 (4,5) - same about design when doing a blanket use always the approach circle of previous/next object to archive a perfect one, also avoid overlapping objects like that.
  6. 00:35:829 (1,2,3) - more about design your triangle patterns like this one looks really bad, mmm an easy way to archive perfect triangle or polygons is to use the tool at: Compose > Create polygon circles
  7. 00:37:713 (1,2) - is the bad stack on purpose? not important but Im curious xD
  8. 00:41:486 (5,1) - timing probably need future improvements, delete those objects and you will notice how off timing is
  9. 00:45:886 (1,2,3,4,1) - same as 00:35:829 - also this one looks worst cause of the overlaps
  10. 00:51:532 (1,2,3,4,5) - there are sections where your rhythm can improve alot, for example listen to the music and see how your objects follow it, you will notice that some strongs sounds dont have click actions, mmm to explain this better, try to follow all the strong sounds (active beats) as slider heads or circles (cause those need click actions) and try to follow the more low sounds (pasive beats) as slider tails or ignore them when mapping, following this will improve greatly the rhythm in the whole diff.
  11. 00:54:046 (1) - also extended slider like this doesn't make much sense with the music, since there is a strong beat (audible ) at 00:54:360 - but nothing at the blue tick
  12. 00:58:443 (7,8) - ya blankets are kinda a problem overall, but something easy to fix, if you use the approach circles to improve them, for example like this:
  13. 01:09:098 - from here, all those normal whistles really make me dizzy xD, idk in this kind of piano songs is better if you use the default one or some custom one, if you still like the current one atleast consider to lower the volume by alot
  14. 01:10:825 (1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2,3) - not a fan feel really forced when playing, cursor movements are really forced tbh.
  15. 01:19:385 (4,5) - why? music don't suggest nothing to do anything like this, just keep the normal spacing at the stream, this kind of stream jumps are also really hated by most players
  16. 01:27:946 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1) - still is 1/4 in the song, I dont see the reason to use 1/8
  17. 01:29:516 (1) - this kind of sliders aren't rankables anymore, mainly cuz the part with all the red points, is basically unreadable and u need to guess how the slider will play, so yea you have to make the slider patch clearly
  18. 01:34:071 (6,1) - looks like 1/2 pattern, not a fan of this kind of jumps, but is my personal opinion, atleast improve the flow between 01:34:071 (6,1) - since is really forced to play
well basically, work more with design, rhythm spacing and flow is a bit questionable at some places, also timing is really off at some parts and you should ask someone for revision, also take in mind that suggestions apply to the whole beatmap and those are some examples.

Wouldn't people unconsciously just hit the notes in that rhythm since the actual fault comes from the song itself that's changing the tempo? Should I indefinitely follow by the song's rhythm and tempo no matter what?

Lol, ok I remember the ancient map of this, AR 8 5 stars, and just really stacked streams. From my queue.

SERENITY

01:10:040 - (9,10,11,12) This feels out of place to hit, I'd straight up remove 11 to make this play more smoothly with the melody.

01:14:202 - (2) I don't like the jerky motion this causes, from sitting on the head of 1 to slowly dragging along 2 while it goes back and forth, Make the tail of 2 aim downwards to keep roughly similar motion to slider 1.

01:14:595 - (5,6,1) The track this is mapped to is almost inaudible, which is often fine however the note the 1 slider is mapping starts at the same time circle 5 is hit, drop 5 and 6 and extend slider 1 to better match the song.

01:15:851 - (2,3,4,5,6,7,8) ahaha, no. This doesn't even make sense with the song, it comes out of nowhere and completely fucks up the flow of the song, AND it's a huge pain in the ass to play, reminds me of the bad parts of the big black. Make this either a stack of circles or half the number of sliders while extending them because at least that would make sense with the music.

01:20:406 - (4,5) This is very backwards, you have almost inaudible notes for slider heads and very powerful notes on the slider tails, find a way to offset this, I don't care how it's done but the strong notes need to be clickable here.

01:24:647 - (1-8) This drastic change in speed doesn't make sense, again you're mapping powerfully to subtle hits that some people probably couldn't even tell are there, if you really want to keep this pattern use some custom hitsounds to at least make it SOUND like the sudden speed up is justified, add some loud hits to the slider heads and it should be fine, otherwise this should be a basic stream, you could even make a spaced one as long as it wasn't insane.

01:32:226 - (7,8,9) Broken DS here, Move the three slightly closer to the tail of 6.

01:34:228 - (1-8) Completely unnecessary, this is what I refer to as bullshit difficulty, because you're fabricating difficulty through making a normal pattern awkward for no reason other than to pad difficulty. Make this a figure eight pattern like it looked like it should've been, don't change directions sharply like that whit to reason to do so.

Surprisingly long section with nothing I can point at, anyways

02:25:118 - (1-16) This pattern kind of fits...... but half way the pattern breaks for a beat then starts again from the original intensity without continuing to grow, Cut this segment in half and try to mimic the effect of the music, what's there right now doesn't match.

02:34:071 - (1) Is the NC here really necessary? Not an issue but seems pointless to me.

02:44:752 - (9) Move this note somewhere else, playing at this speed people will panic and hit it too early because of it being hidden for part of it's life by being a perfect overlap, almost anywhere else is fine just make sure players can see it at all times.

02:57:160 - (1-4,1-4,1-4) Same as earlier, this isn't how the song sounds nor does it work with the music, either make this a stream or longer sliders, so that it follows the music properly.

04:04:384 - (1) Following the pattern you've been keeping here, there should be a slider here instead of continuing the building stream, intentional or overlooked?

Ok, maybe I got tired halfway through this mod and that's why the second half is kinda empty, but honestly mistakes aside this is pretty nice, compared to the shitmap 7+'s I'm used to seeing this is refreshing, cause for the most part it's mapped relatively well despite the insane difficulty level, which has always been hard to pull off (for me anyways). GJ and, while it still needs a lot of work, I'd be happy to see this ranked. GL.

This doesn't even make sense with the song, it comes out of nowhere and completely fucks up the flow of the song, AND it's a huge pain in the ass to play, reminds me of the bad parts of the big black. Make this either a stack of circles or half the number of sliders while extending them because at least that would make sense with the music. just changed entirely

01:20:406 - (4,5) This is very backwards, you have almost inaudible notes for slider heads and very powerful notes on the slider tails, find a way to offset this, I don't care how it's done but the strong notes need to be clickable here.I feel its fine

01:24:647 - (1-8) This drastic change in speed doesn't make sense, again you're mapping powerfully to subtle hits that some people probably couldn't even tell are there, if you really want to keep this pattern use some custom hitsounds to at least make it SOUND like the sudden speed up is justified, add some loud hits to the slider heads and it should be fine, otherwise this should be a basic stream, you could even make a spaced one as long as it wasn't insane. added hitsounds

01:32:226 - (7,8,9) Broken DS here, Move the three slightly closer to the tail of 6. fixed

01:34:228 - (1-8) Completely unnecessary, this is what I refer to as bullshit difficulty, because you're fabricating difficulty through making a normal pattern awkward for no reason other than to pad difficulty. Make this a figure eight pattern like it looked like it should've been, don't change directions sharply like that whit to reason to do so. I had no intentions of making this pattern to feed the difficulty. I've done this because it worked. Until this point I thought the piano pitch goes up and down twice which is why i made the cursor movements go up and down twice, but it seems it only goes up only to come down straight back, I fixed it but not with as the 8 shape, if I understood correctly.

Surprisingly long section with nothing I can point at, anyways

02:25:118 - (1-16) This pattern kind of fits...... but half way the pattern breaks for a beat then starts again from the original intensity without continuing to grow, Cut this segment in half and try to mimic the effect of the music, what's there right now doesn't match. The violin still grows, the piano in the background still grows, I see where this one note's being held on the red tick, but they're still growing overall.

02:34:071 - (1) Is the NC here really necessary? Not an issue but seems pointless to me. dunno how tht got there, fixed

02:44:752 - (9) Move this note somewhere else, playing at this speed people will panic and hit it too early because of it being hidden for part of it's life by being a perfect overlap, almost anywhere else is fine just make sure players can see it at all times. done

02:57:160 - (1-4,1-4,1-4) Same as earlier, this isn't how the song sounds nor does it work with the music, either make this a stream or longer sliders, so that it follows the music properly. fixed

04:04:384 - (1) Following the pattern you've been keeping here, there should be a slider here instead of continuing the building stream, intentional or overlooked?
Intentional, I've done it the same way on the first part 02:20:092 (1) - of streams, since it has a sudden change in tone making it build up even more, I decided to skip the slider to give it no break.

Ok, maybe I got tired halfway through this mod and that's why the second half is kinda empty, but honestly mistakes aside this is pretty nice, compared to the shitmap 7+'s I'm used to seeing this is refreshing, cause for the most part it's mapped relatively well despite the insane difficulty level, which has always been hard to pull off (for me anyways). GJ and, while it still needs a lot of work, I'd be happy to see this ranked. GL.

  15. 04:51:976 (1) – Again, I think you should reverse (Ctrl + G) this x
  16. 04:59:986 (2) – New combo here instead of at 04:59:672 (1) done

01:58:491 (2) - Dont make sliders overlap like this especially at high bpm like this, hard to read
02:09:093 (3) - End this on the previous blue tick so theres more time to snap

04:06:427 (2,3,4) - Be consistent with the stream spacing if youre going to break it apart
