While i was playing Osu! in cold weather, i suddenly feel i was very slow a streaming and i feel my finger barely moves very fast until my hand get warm up

So i ask everyone, does Cold weather / temperature effects you playing Osu?
Gumpy
Yes my hand hurt when trying to play while cold
-GN
i can't stream 250bpm during winter unless i have three heat ovens in my room
Varetyr
My finger control is pretty neat when it's cold
rip speed though
Rio-
Yes, I can't single-tap pretty well when It's cold...
I sometimes warm my hands first with Hot water and continue playing after (or not playing instead, It's better that way)...

Everyone experiences this, in the cold weather your joints can't move at the same speed and are tense.
Attempting to play fast songs with cold hands will just lock your arm/wrist/fingers up.

My fingers get cold instead when playing 5 stars etc. Nervousness LOL

don't play when it's cold, it can damage your hands.
Upskirt

By lowering body externity temp y, but you can do stuff to rise your body temp too, even if it's cold.

When Im cold my coordination, finger speed, finger stamina, and my reflexes all go down the drain. I'm not made for the cold ;w;

play in sauna

When I'm cold I lose all control over my pen and I can't tap for crap.

Well in winter I'll just stop pushing myself, probably afk for a while. My desk is close to windows where it's only warm when the air conditioner is running, and it becomes cold again almost instantly when ac goes back to idle.
I'm really sorry for being rude, but is it really cold down there in HK?
E m i
I open my window wide and turn the heater off so my hand doesn't sweat
other than this factor i'm not really affected
Nathan
finger locks 24/7

Just look at my progress graphs.

If u feel ur fingers cold, is cause u have bad blood circulation atm (really typical at the hands in my case). You just have to warm up a bit the hands and do some kind of exercises.

You won't rank up by not playing.

I don't play as much mostly because the cold makes it hard to play for very long, but school also picked up around then lol.

Edit: Do unranked plays count in that? Because for the last couple of months, I have had most of my plays on maps I mod to have cs5.2 od10 hp9. October probably models about how much I have been playing lately.
Ethelon
Last time I played when I was cold I ended up playing much faster than usual, even without warm-up.
Unfortunately it couldn't be said of accuracy. Still salty about a 96.5% DTHD Miren.

Of course no factors were isolated.

Thanks I'll the cold to my list of excuses to make when I play badly.

It is, in winter, it's about 10-17 degrees Celsius, last year has a record of 7 degress
Karuta-_old_1
I remember Ryosuke- mentioned in his ask.fm that he would soak his hand on boiling hot water, playing under cold weather is hard

I much prefer the heat I usually get here. I guess I'm just used to it, whereas cold days are few in number. I feel the cold no matter what I do and it doesn't even get that cold.

My threshold is probably a bit higher than most, so cold for me is probably fine for other people. If it drops below 20 I need to take breaks to run my hands under hot water frequently. I find it hard to do any "serious gaming" in Winter, which is probably equivalent to Summer somewhere else.

Some people joke and say we don't even have seasons here on the east coast of South Africa. It's just Summer all year round, with a hotter version at the end of the year. This time of year hot water comes out of both taps.

My mind is pretty racist, since I am finding it difficulty to picture any sort of modern civilisation in Africa.

Naturally, I get much slower when I'm cold. However my cursor accuracy also goes down the drain. Probably has a lot to do with my wrist being stiffer than usual. Luckily I have a space heater so I just shut the door and crank that bad boy on and I'm toasty in about 5 minutes.

Err I've never played while cold. If I feel cold I just put the heating on. Like Im going to sit in my house cold
I Give Up
Yes the cold is bad for joints as body fluids become slightly thicker decreasing motor strength, then there is numbness in the fingertips. It really depends on your computer environment. Some people live in really cold countries but have heater and so the ambience is actually warmer. Ideally we should be playing at a cool temperature.
NoScreename
Jumps are a lot harder, and my fingers tend to just freeze on the spot when i'm trying to do a stream. >:( When I mean freeze, I mean just stop clicking.

Well... last night when I check the weather, it says the local temperature was barely above 10 Fahrenheit, so...
I know that the temperature itself doesn't tell the full story though, in some places it makes people feel freezing while the absolute temperature is not really low, maybe HK is like this.
drum drum
I can't concentrate when my hands are freezing :c
TakuMii
The weather here usually goes down to even -20C to -30C, which limited my streaming ability since my PC is in the basement... although that hasn't been a problem ever since I've changed over to an AMD GPU ;)

The place I live isn't really 'foresty'

Also, if you talking about Southeastern Asian countries, countries that are more south than the country i live (ex. Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia) , is hotter then mine
