Where you set the Preview Point conflicts with the time you set in your Insane Mode

Countdown conflicts with Insane diff.
You have "Enable countdown" checked on one mode, but not on the other

Do Ctrl + Shift + A to look at other problems

Rhythm

There are several inappropriate overmapped sections to be found. For instance:

00:31:254 (3) - This rhythm can be optimized by rearranging the slider so it starts on a heavy beat, and ends on a weak one. This is not the case right now and we’d like you to adjust it.

01:01:780 (1) - I often saw sliders like these, and well, they don’t look appealing at all. It’s nice that you tried to bring some more creativity in your map, but it has to be executed better to work. On top of that, the song doesn’t even call for these slider shapes to be honest. 01:00:201 (1) - Slider shapes like these are cute, they flow well with the map, but as soon as they have some weird ankles in them, they need to fit 100%, otherwise it appears random.

  • whats cute and whats not is very subjective, so i wont change too much on this point - however i understand that some extreme angles i set could have been out of place:
  1. 00:11:254 (1) - removed edge
  2. 01:00:201 (1) - tought this goes like AhhhhhhAhh idk - changed to wave seems to fit

Gameplay

01:03:359 (1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4,5,6) - Appears random because you decided to follow the vocals throughout the map rather strictly, yet this spike appears. It doesn’t reflect the music that well either way, please simplify it.

Spacing

  • There are instances, where the spacing could and should be more consistent, mainly due to the fact that the music does not change, so neither should the spacing. Here’s few examples of the said issue:
  1. 00:07:043 (1,2) - ok
  2. 00:13:710 (4) - ok
  3. 00:16:166 (2) - uhm, 0.02 ds shouldnt be a problem
  4. 00:34:061 (2) - ok
  5. 00:37:745 (1,2,3,4) - would disagree here, though this fits quite well

  1. song is cool
  2. @Saut die Beschreibung verlinkt bei Amasuro auf dein profil lol
  3. Custom Combocolours waeren auch toll (koenntest ja sachen nehmen die in eetwa zur farbgebung im BAckground passen)
  4. Ach ja die Standardaufloesung fuer Backgrounds ist 1366x768 und nicht 1365x768 (ich wuerd gern anmerken, dass ich diesen Background und diesen und vielleicht diesen oder diesen auch irgendwie besser finde als den den du grade hast)
  5. Shiratu muss noch in die Tags
  6. Letterbox during breaks ist irgendwie unnoetig denn du hast keine
  7. Widescreen support auch, da du kein widescreen video hast momentan, aber ich nehme mal an das da noch eins kommt also darf das mal bleiben
  8. Artist field sollte wohl schon den richtigen Namen angeben: 真山りか ist artist und romanised wird das als Mayama Rika - also aender nochmal deinen artist und Romanised artist
  9. laut des ranked sets hierzu koenntest du folgendes noch in die tags werfen WHITE FOX Square Enix
  10. Die sache mit der Audio bitrate > 192 kb/s ist auch ne issue die du irgendwann fixen solltest, das ist nen Ranking criteria, du darfst quasi keine MP3s mit ner bitrate ueber 192kb/s ranken es sei denn du besitzt die Rechte an dem Lied... und das bezweifle ich.

  5. 00:15:636 (2) - she sings on the 1/3 tick next to that one
  6. 00:16:302 (4) - ^
  7. 00:21:469 (5,6,1) - this not only looks like you didn't know how else to arrange them but also 00:21:635 (6) - should be on the 1/3 tick next to it again so stacking these objects wouldn't be advised in the first place
  8. 00:23:135 (1) - if that's supposed to be a blanket then it's totally off
  9. 00:24:385 (7) - you were close with this one but it should be on the 1/3 tick to the left
  10. 00:26:969 (4,5,1) - overmapped imo just one circle on the 1/3 tick left to 00:27:135 (1) - is sufficient
  11. 00:31:469 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - i assume you didn't know this is 1/3 for everything and just placed 1/2 notes over it and hoped nobody would notice how it sounds off... you should probably consider redoing that part using the really obvious 1/3 notes - if not this could be considered as overmapping per definition
  12. 00:36:469 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - and now you start a clam part with a giant jump pattern (it doesn't play bad but it also doesn't really fit the atmosphere of the song here .-.)
  13. 00:38:219 (4) - i listened to this several times and i don't hear anything this could snap to
  14. 00:57:135 (5,6,7,8) - this does not really flow well
  15. 01:18:468 - and this part is too easy compared to the extra

  1. ich hatte schon ein paar sachen irc gesagt, du koenntest - weils die extra ist auch die AR auf 9.2 oder so setzen - just saying
  2. 00:19:635 (4,5) - irgendetwas gefaellt mir designtechnisch an diesem pattern nicht, da es an sich sehr eckig ist und der slider rund...? weiss nicht irgendetwas stoert mich daran ich kann allerdings nicht sagen was es ist
  3. die overmapped sliderend sache die ich bei der insane gesagt hatte gilt hier ebenfalls btw
  4. 00:30:802 (6,1) - du kannst den overlap dieser beiden objekte sicherlich vermeiden
  5. 00:31:135 (1,3) - gleiches gilt hier ausserdem ist das spacing in diesem part etwas wat, weil du ja 00:32:913 (2,3,4) - bereits generved hast, solltest du das hier wohl auch irgendwie machen

  1. hi this diff looks kinda cool already, though i think you should consider reducing the AR by 1 because the normal is AR 5 and the easy AR 4 and that kinda feels a bit off when looking at the spread as a whole
  2. 00:16:469 (3) - could probably rotate this one a bit anti-clockwise for a smoother transition from 00:15:136 (1,2) - (aka a smooth movement from 00:16:135 (2) - into 00:16:469 (3) - )
  3. 00:19:135 (5) - the overlap of these 2 looks kinda untidy and even unplanned i know it's a bit hard to arrange these without breaking your flow, all i could think of to solve this is actually playing with your base spacing and base SV of your diff settings a bit until that slider is short enough or something like this:

    I see your point, but I really don't want to touch stuff like the SV or map spacing. The overlap here was actually planned, but I did it poorly. I probably won't change it until it becomes a big problem.

The audio bit-rate of the song is higher than 192kbps. You have to reduce it to 192kbps or less.
The first timing point should be moved at 00:01:680 since it's here that the song start, and it's better to move it here because it'll also move the big white ticks, which are not placed correctly.

Amasuro's Easy

00:01:680 - That's just a suggestion, but maybe you can use a lower SV since this part is slow ?
00:16:469 (3) - You should try to change this slider a little bit, maybe by following the symmetric slider of (1) by (2) (it's the yellow one) :

00:21:469 (4,5) - Instead of doing this with stacking (5) under (4) (it could be problematic for Hidden players), I suggets to keep (4) and make it a reversed slider.
00:22:469 (2,3) - You could maybe try to blanket here ?
00:23:135 (3,4) - This blanket can be improved.
00:27:135 (4,5) - ^
00:27:802 (6) - I suggest to move this circle in order to make an equilateral triangle with 00:27:135 (4,5)'s tails. It'll be following (5)'s shape then.
00:30:469 (3,4,1,2) - The distance snap between all these objects should be the same, since the distance are rhythmically the same.
00:37:469 (3,4,5) - This distance used here looks too much like the one at used for 00:36:469 (1,2,3), but the problem is that the second one is for 1/2 beats and the first one is for 1/1 beats. I think you should use the same distance snap for the whole diff, the changes here are too random, sometimes it's not really readable =/
There's a lot of distance snap issues on this part, try to use the same distance snap please. Sometimes it's a higher distance snap than the one used in the kiai time, so it's unlogical because it's a slow part.
01:02:468 (3,4) - You can possibly try to blanket here ?
01:06:468 (1,2) - Try to destack (2) and stack it on 01:06:968 (3), then Hidden players won't miss because of this.
01:26:634 (3,4) - You should use a slider here instead of these 2 circles, it'd be easier.

00:09:680 (3,4) - You should use the same distance snap as for 00:10:080 (4,5) (then the distance should be the the half of the one for 00:10:080 (4,5))

You should try to use a logical distance snap (not especially the same for the whole map, but avoid things like this 01:00:468 (1,2))
Also, your pattern are a bit awkward, I'm sorry to say this but it's some times kind of random =/

You should maybe remap in my opinion, the quality isn't pervasive, and that's quite sad...
(this applies to all the difficulty, even the GDs)


Tochi's Extreme

00:23:135 (1,2,3,4) - You can improve the blanket here, try maybe to remap the slider to make a good curve :

I think it's gonna be hard for you to get this ranked =/ I suggest to follow what I said at the end of the Extra.

  2. overmappedsliderendeverywhere.png was ich halt tun wuerde ist nicht den 1/6 sondern den 1/4 tick dafuer zu verwenden (das wird sehr viel haeufiger gemacht und stoesst generell auf mehr akzeptanz) roger
  3. 00:22:469 (2) - dieser hier koennte imo einen kleinen knick vertragen - aber das kann auch nur meine meinung sein sehe ich auch so

There's a lot of distance snap issues on this part, try to use the same distance snap please. Sometimes it's a higher distance snap than the one used in the kiai time, so it's unlogical because it's a slow part. fixed the whole part, it's just that I don't really like all those little overlaps :/

This is the third map of this song that I've modded.

[General]
  1. It is normal for the offset to change when you re-encode the *.mp3 file. Just change the offset of your map to match the new file.
  2. The tag Op and 2 are not needed, since the minimum length of search queries on the website is 3 characters, and for in-game search, these are already included in Opening and 2nd, respectively.
  3. Consider adding video to this TV Size map. Many players enjoy playing with background video.
  4. Consider adding custom combo colours.
  5. Romanized artist should be Mayama Rika.
  6. Since there is no storyboard, disable widescreen support for all difficulties.
[Amasuro's Easy]
  1. 00:01:680 (1,2,3,4,5) - Make this pattern perfectly symmetric: Image| Code
  2. 00:08:080 (1,2) - Reduce spacing to 0.9x?
  3. 00:25:802 (1,2,3) - I don't think this flows very well. The movement from (1) to (3) is really straight, while the sliders suggest a curved path, which makes this arrangement feel stiff. Consider reversing one slider's direction to improve this.

00:32:469 (3) - Ctrl + G flows a bit nicer, it's best to have a reverse slider end toward the direction of the next note instead of away from it if you know what I mean.

00:45:468 (2) - This slider doesn't really look that good to be honest, it would be better to make it the same shape as 00:44:468 (1) because it would make a nicer blanket and also because the next 2 sliders at 00:46:468 (3,4) are even as well.

00:52:635 - This spinner should be shortened because new players need more recovery time, usually 4 beats after the spinner should be the next note.

00:59:134 (7,8) - Move these down a little bit so that they are even with the middle of 00:57:801 (5)

01:14:468 (7) - Something about the look of this slider looks uneven, I think one of the points are shorter than the other.

A lot of notes in this difficulty aren't snapped on a tick, maybe you could fix this in the future? I'm not going to comment on every single one of these, you could figure this out yourself by placing the note on a tick where it sounds most appropriate. uhm, not really i think they are all perfectly snapped (atleast aimod doenst show any errors)

Also things like 00:56:150 (5,1) - and 00:59:817 (5,6,1) - Flow here seems very choppy. Generally still an ok map :)

This spinner: 00:30:568 (1) - I think this may be too quick? Just some slight flow problems, not a big issue.

widescreen support hat nichts mit dem video zu tun, die einstellung bezieht sich auf das storyboard - und ein storyboard hat die map nicht
