I didn't get a chance to play for 3-4 days and now I can't play or hold my mouse at all. Everything I try feels super awkward and I can't hold combo or get any sort of accuracy and I can't even complete some 3 star songs anymore. The same thing has happened before and I know I've posted pretty much this same thread about 6 times now but the problem keeps coming up. It's not like one bad day either, I've tried to wait this out and it's not working, it's been a week and I still can't do it and it almost feels like it's just getting worse.

I don't know what to tell you. There is no magic way to get back to where you were before. You just have to keep playing and trust that you will get the comfort level you were at before. You can't not expect at least a little difficulty when you come back from a break

The problem is that it's been a week of me playing for 45-60 minutes a day and it's still not coming back at all and it seems like it's getting worse

Just keep rolling with whatever mouse hold you're using? Sometimes I change how i hold my mouse randomly and it feels awkward but later on i just find a comfortable position.

Or maybe your mouse is just uncomfortable in general? The last time I had this problem was when I was still using a mouse that's way bigger than my hand and it's always positioned awkwardly, sometimes I can forget how I hold my mouse for days.

Current mouse hold that I've been using to try to fix the problem hurts like hell, it just makes my hand, wrist, and forearm sore

I was having a lot of problems with my right hand muscles to the point i had to stop playing. I change a lot of times how i hold the mouse. A few days ago i just discover how you hold the mouse dosn't matter at all. You can play exactly the same, If your mouse don't move out of your control, you're using your fingers to move it toó instead arm/hand.

Having this fingers problem i'm actually playing using bent fingers over the mouse. I just hold the mouse using 2 fingers and the hand weight. And I'm playing exactly the same than using all fingers without weight.

If you're not confortable playing It's probably how you sit fault and you're 100% focused on your rigth hand instead listen song rythms.
Try to sit and play confortable. By confortable i don't mean you can sleep like that.

Change the skin and up the hitsounds, this will help you to focus on the circles/song instead your ankward hand.
If you can't use well the cursor anymore test to change sensitivity a little (0'3) playing 1 or 2 maps and your hand will wake up. Then back your sensitivity to the normal for you.
Don't force a position, play confortable.

Sounds like you need to practice more while focusing on your grip. Waiting it out wont make it go away.

Mouse grip is very important and knowing how to change it can speed up improvement dramatically.

If you have trouble with accuracy hold the mouse more firmly.

If you have trouble with large jumps or mouse drift hold the mouse more loosely.

I've found a grip that sort of works but it's painful as hell, it just makes my forearm and wrist sore after about a minute of playing

Numbness no good. Sore muscles good . Stretching can help (especially after doing it often and learning what kind of fwelings are normal for you) but need to take care not to do damage.
