I recently just started playing osu more frequently and noticed that my entire elo history has been deleted including my rank. Is this a new system that has been enabled or a glitch?

Yes, people were complaining about pp so much we all decided it was for the better it did not exist. There is a new system in place that calculates your rank based on the closest player that got a similar score. Play a map with a leaderboard to see how it works!
Please start playing actual mania maps. They are differentiated from STD converts by a small rectangle next to the difficulty name.
