What exactly is an Arles Map?

(Is this where i should post this?) Well as the title suggest what is it? is it a general mapping style or?

Arles maps are a specific subset of maps made by this guy.

They tend to be full of large, fullscreen jumps and spaced streams. Most of them are 6+ stars, which makes them quite good warmup maps for higher-ranked players.

they are so popular that eventually we call any map with big fat thick spacing jump and stream a arles map

basically a really hard map that has cross screen jumps ok then.... Thanks for answering guys!

i wouldn't call anything other than arles' maps arles maps. you can describe a map as a jump map or spaced stream map etc. dl his maps and see for yourself.

it's literally just a map made by arles/lahphnya/elchxyrlia (they're all the same guy https://osu.ppy.sh/u/1722835)

he maps quite a lot and it got popular
