Well, tomorrow, Sunday 25 February, marks the end of this year's Winter Olympics; here are my final impressions of this year's Games:
Lim Hyo-jun did an amazing job winning the host nation's first gold medal of the Games early on in the Men's 1500m short track competition. Probably the most exciting short track match these entire Games, in my opinion.
I was very saddened when the Women's South Korea curling team lost their gold medal match. Sweden played very well, congratulations!
Dahlmeier brought pride and joy to Germany as she won the Women's 7.5k Sprint Biathlon competition almost effortlessly.
Fourcade was excellent, as to be expected, in the Biathlon 15k Mass Start. He almost lost, though; he won by half a boot!
Diggins made the US proud when she pushed the final few meters at the Women's Cross-Country Skiing Team Sprint.
The US Mixed Doubles curling team was not up to par, but Hamilton went on to win the gold medal for the US men's team.
Oh yeah, Lindsey Vonn and Mikaela Shiffrin did well too, but I didn't really follow alpine skiing too closely this year. Sorry!
