What does an EMG feel like?

So I went to my docter today and talked to them about multiple things, one of which being my wrist. She said she wanted to do an EMG, and I asked what that was. She said they are going to put two little needles into my arm and put an electric pulse through them. Does this hurt? This sounds like it would be extremely painful, and I have a deathly fear of needles. Anyone who has had an EMG, can you please describe to me what it feels like?

I come from the extreme side of stupid like sticking scissors in the outlet just slightly. That felt like an uncontrollable force shaking you hand up and down, up and down. Was not painful, but would have been if I shoved it deeper, making less resistance and more current.

Look up the current for EMG. Anything below 1mA shouldn't hurt. I believed I got ~7mA from that stupid stunt.

I had one last year, and believe me when I say it hurts a lot. Like, I wouldn't wish that on anyone at all.

The procedure goes like this: firstly, you have to snort a full dish of spaghetti with bolognese sauce until your nasal cavity becomes bolognese itself and your nose starts rotting from all the food inhaled. Secondly, the food would reach your wrist and start healing all the pain you had, but you'd end up passing out in the process and start hallucinating all sorts of creepy stuff, like Dark Enetro dissing you online and everyone supporting his claims or Serraionga derailing and effectively killing your thread by posting mind blowing shit, the kind of shit that makes everyone go like "hoLY SHIT SERRIAOGNA POSTS ARE SO GOODO XDDDDDD". Usually, this step is the hardest as it makes people suffer and completely forget that their wrist is in the process of healing while they're witnessing all that creepy shit, but if you're capable of withstanding all the pain this makes you go through, then you would recover completely. Nothing would hurt you ever again.

Think about this. I'm not an expert in EMG, but I would say that this would be pretty painful.

Can't be much different than receiving a shot. No, not a shot of 99% alcohol, tho that might help you in this case
