1. For every round, a theme will be set. This means you have to sing a song that goes with the chosen category.
   If your entry does not match the theme, you won't make it to the next round.
2. Send me your voice clip via a Forum PM! It has to be longer than 1 minute and not exceed 8 MB (For the Prelimination Round, it has to be longer than 30 seconds and shorter than 2 minutes.).
   Adding the instrumental version of the original song is very encouraged (Exception: Preliminary Round). But make sure that the voice of the original singer is not there, or at least not too loud.
3. Do not edit your voice clip via autotuning or similar methods.
   You may however do minor editing like amplifying your voice or removing noise.
   Also, please sing your song in a single take. This means, no harmonies and no overlaying your voice on itself. If you sang live, you wouldn't be able to do that either.
4. All entries will be handed to the judges.
   They will rate the songs based on the following criteria:
   
   Voice: The quality of the performer's voice. Did they sing clearly?
   Could you understand the lyrics (annunciation)? Did their voice flow? Was the performer on key?
   
   Entertainment Value: How you enjoyed the performance.
   Think about song choice, how it was performed, did it make you feel the emotion?
   
   Timing: If the timing is off, points will be deducted.
   (note: not “you can tell if you slow it down” off or “1/100 of a second” off.
   Refers to when you can tell, with the naked ear, at 100% speed that they're off with virtually no doubt for a significant portion of the song without comparing to the original version.
   That's a pretty big margin for error if you think about it.)
   
5. After Round 1, the contestants will message me and tell me about their song choice (preferably before you sing your song). In case multiple people want to sing the same song, the contestant(s) that had fewer points in the last round will have to choose new songs.
   This is to avoid multiple people singing the same song.
   
6. The contestants with the fewest points will have to leave! The ones with enough points make it to the next round!
   (The amount of rounds and of leaving contestants will be deduced by how many overall participants there are. You will be informed at the start of the contest.)
   
7. The contestant winning the very last round wins a 6 month osu! subscription!

I don't get it, we send recording of our voices now so the judges know our voices or is this rule for the recording submission of each round? If it is the second one, isn't one minute too short?
