I don't even know what to take a screenshot of :I.

He wants to know what your editor looks like rather than describing it with words.
Bara-
Yes
I don't know what you mean with 'no files button'
So please open editor, and that's already enough
Press shift f12 then

Aren't mac stuff like on the corner left, if you screenshot in-game, it only screenshot the game not the mac bar on the corner left.

It should be like that : I don't know if you see those in full screen, so try lowering your screen resolution if you don't see it.

I'm not sure, since I don't use mac, just might be a possibility...

i did but i still can't find the files button or add new difficulty :/. it only shows wine and windows. I think its probably osu uses wine to start.

If you can get another mac user to confirm this I will mark this as confirmed

Unfortunately I don't know any other Mac beat mappers personally. I suppose we will have to wait it out.
drum drum
I think i'll just confirm it instead

Thank you. : )

I am too also having the same issue. The File button is mysteriously missing.
Raymonf
I think this is a wine issue.

On Mac, usually the menu stuff is on the top bar next to the Apple logo thingum.

I guess it's trying to move the menu bar thingum to the top, but wine just ignores it.

The fact that Wine always does stuff like this to me is why I use Bootcamp. :(

I believe the file button is still there, but it's just invisible. There's a black bar that's right above the compose, design, timing, and song setup tabs, which is where the windows menu buttons are (file, edit, view, etc.). For mac, just click on the black bar about where the file button should be (just above the compose tab) and a menu should appear.

YOU ARE FABULOUS. I AM LOOKING THERE NOW AND SOMETHING CAME UP. Looking for Create New Difficulty.

Mac issues i'm experiencing:

seems like the windows window-style is overlapping with the mac window-style.. so it looks buggy and i couldn't see the bottom part of the whole window. please fix this issue! i can't fix my map :( this is with the new christmas update though.. i'll make a new thread lol

as the for the create new diff.. yeah it's an issue as well since ages ago. and the tabs on top of compose, design, timing, and song setup are also invisible (however they can still be clicked if you click the black parts on top left.. mac client too buggy #thebugisreal #thebugistooreal #thebugisreallyreal #toorealforyou

This issue has existed for a long time, the "Menu" bar with all the "File" "Edit" etc you see on Windows does not appear. It IS there but you kinda have to click around that top left region for it to appear. I can upload photos if that helps ;)

The problem isn't being able to make new difficulties - it's simply the interface which is bugged. In this case, it's just hidden away, but it's all there.

Here's a video.

EDIT: Oops, my bad for interface being Korean. Hehe xD

You can still access the menus using alt-f to make it display, then the left and right arrow keys to cycle other available menus.

._.

Moving to low priority for now.
Hopefully this will work properly once the new OpenGL hits the Stable release stream and a new wineskin is made for Mac use.
