In my opinion, the map-failure mechanic is outdated. Every player entering a map where they're struggling is required to turn on NF just to see what happens next. I think it should work like in multiplayer: if you run out of HP, the screen gets a little darker, and your result doesn't count, but you can continue playing. This way, players won't have to make unnecessary clicks to test themselves on a more challenging map. The fewer unnecessary clicks a game has, the more enjoyable it is to play.
