heyo, i started playing "mania like" rhythm games around the time fnf came out and ive gotten pretty good at them! one thing ive noticed though is that recently i havent been improving much, even though i play 4k rhythm games for like 30 minutes to an hour each day. so i was wondering if any of you guys have any map recommendations for learning certain techniques and stuff like that. I can get A and B ranks on 3-4 star maps consistently so maybe some maps around that level or higher.

play maps that force you to lock in and you'll be gucci gang

At 3-4 * you don't have many patterns that's around when mania sr gets inconsistent so all you really should do is pick songs you like

30 - 60 min a day is not much, if you can get enough warmup to play then you should try harder stuff and push further with rates.

play old maps imo. A lot of them have pretty simple patterns which are great for improving fundamentals. Also, find maps with a lot of difficulties. You'll have a more linear progression since you can just move up a diff every time something feels too easy. ALSO sometimes old patterns can be mapped awkwardly, which is helpful for getting used to complex finger control.

Also try to learn the different kinds of patterns by name so you know what to look for (e.g, if I used to struggle with a stream pattern on a map i liked, id search for and download a bunch different maps with similar patterns, play those, and then go back to the first map)

other than that, yeah, what everyone else said. Playing songs you enjoy will help you 100x more than any kind of pushing (early game at least)
