umm its going ok i guess i have done it for like 3 weeks and its ok but the problem is its so uncomfortable doing triples like i cant start triples with my middle finger(i play with index and middle) like its unbearable, plus im kinda shit at it yea ik play more been there done that. I just want some alt tips

and this is really wierd i have gotten slower at jumping with alt kinda. Right so my one twos are really good since the way i tapped legit made my aim worse because i was tensing my tapping hand so much that my aiming arm just lost accuracy. But with alt i can do one twos better since its not really that fast but more aim heavy.

but when it comes to fast maps my brain kinda shits itself and i cant alt those faster speeds which i could while single tapping. Singletapping i could do 260 bpm semi hard jumps but alting i can max do 200 bpm kinda hard jumps(im more accurate i feel like). Yea lowkey idk how to get good at alt basically cuz my brain just mushes together and its really wierd

i learned full alt by spamming really high BPM alt maps with half time until I could do full alt perfectly

You could try playing with the alternate mod which forces you to play full alt

i started playing full alt right after i started the game, so i don't have any perspective on coming at it from single tapping, but here are some of my thoughts/observations.

one thing you can try is practicing tapping outside the game, just focusing on making your fingers do the motions. i often found when i was struggling with full alt that i was so accustomed to ending patterns with a certain finger that i would compulsively over or under tap when patterns required the opposite finger. removing the distraction of gameplay lets you get the basic movements into your muscles without the sensory distractions of the game, or the stakes of messing up a play.

then, although you mention wanting to alternate jumps for playing fast aim, i would suggest also practicing low bpm alt/rhythm focused maps. i think this helps give you real intentional control over your fingers. being mindful of starting, tapping the correct number of times, and stopping on the correct finger, instead of mashing or aimlessly wiggling your fingers back and forth.

as for your issue with triples, one strategy i sometimes rely on for consecutive odd length triple/burst patterns is to focus on the 1s only and think of it more like alting slow jumps. so instead of thinking IMI MIM IMI i just focus on which finger i need to start I-- M-- I-- and trust that my muscle memory will fill in the rest.

when it comes to jumps i don't have many thoughts, but here are some aim maps that might be good practice.
