Context:
I've been playing osu for quite some time, since 2022 to be specific. Now I was on the stable branch of osu up until mid 2022-2023, somewhere in that range, until I switched to lazer. Now I've been playing lazer since then, and up until maybe a week ago, the 4k conversion mod didn't affect ranking multiplayer, now it dos.
Issue:
Are conversion mods supposed to be giving less of a multiplier when you use them for ranked? I'm confused as to why this, all of a sudden, changed despite not being a thing on lazer since I switched to it.
Commentary:
If conversions are genuinely meant to decrease mult, I kind of feel as though it's unfair towards those who mainly play 4K, but still want to play ranked. I'm really bad past 5K, and I can barely play 5K to begin with, but I'd still like to compete and rank fairly amongst those who play with their own conversions.
Any answers or feedback on this would be greatly appreciated, and I'm more than open to discussion/debate on this matter :3
