[osu!stable] Has the latency/lag issues on Win11 been fixed at all?

I have zero clue if this is the right sub forum to post on but, throwing it out there.

The last time I tried to switch to Win11, osu!stable was completely unplayable as I was having MAJOR latency issues leading to huge input lag and eventually leading to the game hanging pretty hard every minute or so. I have since reverted back to Win10 for the time being since stable runs flawlessly there. I tried a lot of things from disabling fullscreen optimizations, disabling GPU scheduling in Windows settings, disabling fullscreen mode in-game, running compatibility mode etc etc. Nothing I tried seemed to make it better.

I do know that the 22H2(?) update broke things related to Direct11 games which I assume is what stable is running on, so I'm sure this is entirely a Windows 11 issue and not an osu! issue directly. I'm just looking for some insight on this issue since I actually WANT to switch to Win11 because Win10 is going EOL next month. I just can't switch because this game is my main game at this point in time, and the game just straight up isn't playable on Win11.

i have never had major issues with running osu! on windows 11, i actually think it's slightly better than on windows 10. it's really difficult to suggest anything other than to just try it, especially if it's been a while and windows 10 support is ending either way

fyi stable uses opengl by default and direct3d 11 via ANGLE when compatibility mode is enabled. lazer will just tell you what it's using in settings

It was only a few weeks ago I tried it but switched back a few days after. Can I ask if there's anything special you turned off or changed in settings anywhere? I noticed when I fresh installed windows, it worked fine for a bit then went right back to the issues I was having.

i don't do much tweaking, about the most i will do is change things around in the nvidia control panel but osu will still work just fine on default settings. if you didn't install a graphics driver yourself, windows may have installed one for you and sometimes it will choose a buggy/old/incorrect version, so i would suggest running DDU to get rid of your current driver and getting the latest one from your GPU manufacturer's website
