Reading short long notes

I've been playing a lot of long note recently, but one thing that really trips up my accuracy especially in 5-7* LN maps is short long notes. Ones that require you to release super early, practically right as you hit the note, and then some where you hold for just a tad bit longer. Any tips on reading these patterns??

this is what it looks like: every blue note is a long note.
