You've only been starting out the game. Instead of worrying about gaining ranks, focus on playing a wide variety of maps and improving on the fundamentals first. I don't recommend pushing for higher star rating maps when you can't consistently achieve high accuracy for your current star rating range. Play more 3* maps to get those B-rank into A-rank or better, then move on to 4* and so on.
