Please suggest good horror movies

For reference I am a noob at movies in general (i didnt like watching them).
Already watched: Weapons, Smile, Conjuring Last Rite, The Mummy

Dont want to watch: Saw, The Babadook, Insidious, Lake Mungo

Preferably english language but also wouldnt mind others

you should give The Ruins a shot! i havent watched it in years but i still sometimes have memories pop in about it every now and then, was a great watch

Wait banger post.

  1. NOPE, GET OUT and Us - Nope and Us were pretty good but get out was the best one imo.
  2. A Quiet Place - 10% dialog, 90% suspense.
  3. 28 days later - Only watched video reviews. They say this was good but the sequel was kinda meh.
  4. 10 Cloverfield Lane (2016) - The acting (specially the fat guy) was really good.
  5. Hereditary - Not watched yet but heard it's kind of different from your average horror stuff.
  6. Shaun of the dead - This is technically a comedy but there's also horror tied to it. Highly recommend, this shit was funny.
There's ofc some really old ones like The shining, The Exorcist, & The Thing. Gotta watch those.

Sinister is very good, one of my favorites.

Color Out of Space is also one of my favorites, but I'm a big Lovecraft fan.

The Void (2016) is also a favorite.

The Thing (1982) is an absolute classic.

The Exorcist is pretty good.

The 1979 version of The Amityville Horror is still a favorite of mine.

The Ritual is really fun.

The Taking of Deborah Logan is pretty cool.

Apollo 18 is fun and a neat take on found-footage.

Veronica is really good if you don't mind a Spanish horror movie.


Yeah I love horror movies.
