- This iteration, players will get to choose between keeping the typical qualifiers to bracket stage format, or vote for a new "swiss" season format. Please read the descriptions of these options in the registrations form!
- The following tldr points apply regardless of format selected:
- This is a 2v2 double elimination tournament, with teams of up to 4 players.
- Tournament matches will use ScoreV2 and NF and permit touchscreen with no score penalty.
- Players first sign up individually and then form teams with other players who attend the same school.
- Schools may submit a maximum of four teams across all tiers if they have sufficient registrants.
- o!CL will be split up first by region, one being North America & South America (the Americas) and the other being all other continents east of the Atlantic Ocean (Europe, Asia, Oceania, etc.; basically everyone outside the Americas). Each region will then be split into different tiers running as concurrent tournaments, with the cutoffs for each tier being set to keep all tiers for a region as even as possible, without exceeding 40 teams per tier.
- Effective BWS for pp will be used to sort teams into tiers with teams of similar skill level.
- Mappoolers & Playtesters, and anyone else with access to a tier’s pools cannot participate in that tier. Referees must not be from either of the two teams playing.
- Knocked out players are allowed to apply to other roles (by contacting the hosts).

- Individual registration opens – September 14th
- Individual registration ends, Team registration opens – September 24th at 23:59 UTC
- Team rosters locked – October 6th at 23:59 UTC
- Estimated Tourney conclusion (swiss option) – November 8th weekend
- Estimated Tourney conclusion (bracket option) – November 22nd weekend
All tiers will have the same prizes.
