General
- Only Australian or New Zealand players wishing to participate in the tournament must sign up using the Player Registration form linked at the top of the post, and join the discord server where matches and announcements are organised. With the exception of Streamers and Commentators, staff are not allowed to play in the tournament.
- Staff and Players must abide the osu! community rules, and respect each other. Sensitive topics should not be discussed. We reserve the authority to kick individuals out of the tournament if reasonable.
Only visual mods are allowed (HD, FL, FI, and MR along with NF) during matches. Any other mods are not allowed. - If a player disconnects from the lobby during a map, then the map can be replayed depending on how early the disconnect happened (~under 30 seconds). Otherwise, proof of the disconnected player's score will be used. The final say is up to the referee.
- Players not cooperating with staff including referees, as well as intentionally stalling matches will result in warnings. If needed, the referee has the ability to end the map/match and determine the outcome.
Qualifier Matches
- The Qualifier Phase consists of 6 maps (stages): 1 SV, 2 Rice, 2 Long Note, and 1 Hybrid map.
- Players will book a time between ~22nd Nov - 23rd Nov to have their Qualifier lobby. 10-15 minutes before their booked time, a referee will notify them of the match and will send a Multiplayer lobby invite through osu!.
- Players will play through the Qualifier mappool in order twice, with a 2-minute maximum break between each map, and a 5-minute break between the two runs. Any break can be cut short or skipped at the discretion of the player.
Bracket Matches
- Players will be assigned a time to have their matches, which can be rescheduled if needed. 10-15 minutes before their allocated time, a referee will notify both players of the match and will send a Multiplayer lobby invite through osu!.
- Players may provide a warmup map to the referee before the match formally starts. Only one warmup map is chosen; it must be appropriate and under 2:30 in drain time.
- Both players will be required to type '!roll' in multiplayer chat at the start of the match. The player with the highest roll will be first to choose a map to protect (cannot be banned). The player with the lowest will choose their map to protect afterwards, as well as choose a map to ban (cannot be picked). The player with the highest roll chooses a map to ban last, totaling two protected and two banned maps.
Picks and bans are on a 2-minute timer, and may be voided if the player does not choose in time. - During the match, players take turns picking maps with a 2-minute timer, with the highest roller picking first. Afterwards, players have 1 minute to ready up to begin playing. The map will auto-start if the minute is used up.
- Both players have a single 'timeout' of 2 minutes per match which they can use in between maps which adds on to existing timers. An extra timeout is given if the match reaches the tiebreaker.
