Should my forearm be tensing?

Hello, I've recently gotten to around 4.9-5.3 star chordjack (4K) maps and when I get to higher bpm's my forearms tend to tense up a lot to hit the faster jacks. Is this proper technique, or should I aim to keep my fingers light and relaxed?

wasting too much energy. Try to not tense at all, tap lighter to preserve stamina. Keep your arms straight as well

from my experience for chordjack you absolutely HAVE to tense otherwise your cooked so idk i think it depends on what you prefer. i tense arms and dont have stamina issues but 6k is different from 4k so idk but i do same technique on 4k cj as 6k cj

better wording for this is, "try to minimize tensing"
I don't think it's completely avoidable, especially if you're trying to "push"
