Is it normal for my fingers to "change posture" while playing different patterns?

I´ve been practising a lot of handstream maps lately and realised that the way I tap HAS to be completely different to how I would tap on a CJ map. By that I mean that in a CJ map I would be tapping with the "meaty" part of my finger (therefore having my fingers in a less curved angle), and when I play a handstream map, I´d be tapping with the nail part because it just feels right and more controlled. Is this normal?

it's normal cuz your hand is trying to adapt the intensity of the patterns and the speed of the map. Overtime you'll eventually develop and get used to it once you keep focusing more on intense maps. In your case, I think your hand is most likely adapted to the patterns you are often playing since u said that you're "practicing a lot". Just ignore it and don't overthink about it.

yeah normal. you hit chordjack with the "meaty" part of your fingers because while 3 or 4 fingers go down itd actually 1 motion which makes it "meaty"er or something

Playing with the nail part means you have more angle on your fingers, which gives better isolation therefore better for trilling which is present in stream maps. With CJ you rely less on fingers but more on wrists and having less angle should take less stamina (probably). In my case I have asymmetrical hypermobility on my fingers so the angles on each of my hands are different, so you should probably just do whatever feels comfortable.

Learn to be consistent with it but also learn what niches work best for each pattern And try to do them each time (slow practice is fast practice)

as the late and great emanual lasker said "if you see a great move look for a better one" so dont get complacent with experimenting just make sure you know what your base model is for so if they dont work out you forget or merge with the bad postures
