Switching to tablet

I recently got a tablet as a gift so obviously I wanted to try it out. So far I've only been playing with mouse for many years, but not the "regular" way (as in aiming with mouse and tapping on keyboard). I'm not sure if there's a specific name for this play style but it's basically clicking with mouse for singletaps and using x/z on the keyboard for faster rhythms like triples and streams.
I'm trying to get used to this new method of playing but I'm having trouble relearning it due to the change in both moving the cursor and tapping to the rhythm. I also feel a bit lost trying to find the right position for the tablet, as well as my hand/arm because it feels quite uncomfortable/awkward now and my aim is very shaky.
I was wondering if anyone has had a similar experience and if they have any tips on how to regain the ability to play on the skill level I'm used to faster.

You can find several guides on how to choose a tablet area on Youtube. Adjust the area as you play and you'll find out what needs fixing.
As for relearning the technique, there's no better way than to play more. Since you'll no longer be mouse-clicking, learn how to do single, double and triple taps (consecutively) and get used to doing it. It's normal for the aim to be shaky as first since you're just getting used to using a tablet. Start from easier maps then challenge yourself by playing harder, more aim-focused maps.

I didn't mean tablet area, by "position" I meant where to place the tablet on the desk in relation to the keyboard and the desk's edge.
I was looking for more specific advice other than the generic "play more", I know this since I've been playing for 10 years. Even after weeks I can still only play at a very basic level so I'm starting to question if the switch is even worth it, that's why I wanted to get some insight from people who went through a similar situation.

I'd guess that the reason it's taking so long to regain your skill is because you're going for only SS's, judging by your recent plays. After all, the only way to improve is to put yourself into uncomfortable positions and force yourself to adapt, and a map which you can SS on the first few tries is just about the least uncomfortable position possible. Add on top of that the fact that you're essentially completely relearning aim, and to a lesser extent, tapping, and that it already can take weeks to months for the average player to regain their skill on a different playstyle, and I can see why you're not seeing any progress.

Sorry for the late reply, I forgot about this. The reason why you're just seeing SS plays on my profile is because I mainly play to farm SS and leaderboard scores, not for pp. I guess I should try to play more for improvement again when I have time.
