Been meaning to get back into VSRGs after 4 years or so with a new setup. Back then I played with a laptop keyboard which was serviceable and got me some top plays 4 digit.
Recently, I've been trying to derust with my new setup and it's getting hard to get used to my new Keychron K1 with low profile reds. I have been switching between this and a cheap 10$ membrane keyboard (with a lower polling rate) and somehow I'm getting better UR and MA with the latter. I've been playing with the mechanical for 2-3 weeks now so I don't know how much longer it will take to get used to the new switches. I think it's just because they're low profile switches but I tried with regular MX reds and I only got worse lol.
With membrane:
With mechanical:
These scores are 15 days apart, in which I derusted from 6th to 10th dan. I'm trying to remedy my hitting early consistently, but my UR is still pretty bad. With membrane I can consistently hit around 100-120 but on mechanical I hardly get below 140 or 150 even on easy CJ maps
