2024 | 2023 | 2022 | 2021 | 2020 | 2019 | 2018 | 2017

NEW: this year's iteration will not include any Hidden mod pools. Instead, the Hidden mod is allowed as an optional preference mod on any map pick with no score multiplier.

  2. This is an open rank tournament. Players of any skill level may participate.
  3. This is a Finnish tournament. Players must have either the Finnish or Ålandic flag on their osu! profile to participate.
  4. This tournament will be played in ScoreV2.
  5. All players are subject to official player screening, meaning any misconduct during the past 12 months, or ongoing tournament bans, may void your eligibility to play.
  6. Joining the Discord server is required. Players should change their server nickname to match their osu! username.
  7. The 64 best-performing players will advance from qualifiers into a double elimination bracket stage.
    1. There is no limit on the amount of players who can play qualifiers.
    2. Amount of qualifying players subject to change depending on the number of registrations.
  8. Staff members are not allowed to participate, with the exception of streamers and commentators.
  9. Every match will have a referee present in the lobby.
  10. All match times will be listed in local time (UTC+03).
  11. Mappools will consist of a No Mod, Hard Rock, Double Time, and Easy (starting from Round of 16) pool, as well as a tiebreaker map.
    1. The Hidden mod may optionally be enabled on any map, with its multiplier removed.
    2. The qualifiers mappool will not feature a tiebreaker.
    3. Every map will be played with No Fail in addition to the listed mods.

General rules
  1. All spaces affiliated with o!ft are subject to the osu! community rules, as well as the rules of the respective platforms themselves.
  2. Players are expected to uphold a competitive and friendly environment, and to treat tournament staff and other players with respect.
    1. This includes keeping matches running smoothly and avoiding deliberate delays.
  3. Any foul play, including but not limited to: cheating, bracket manipulation, and failure to cooperate in match rescheduling, is strictly prohibited.
  4. Failing to abide by these rules will be punished accordingly and may lead to the offending player being disqualified.
  5. The tournament organisers reserve the right to modify the rules at any moment.
    1. Any changes to the rules will be clearly communicated to the players.
  6. Vastaa rekisteröinnissä neljänteen kysymykseen "1917".
Match rules
  1. All matches will have a dedicated referee present.
  2. Players will receive invites from the referee to their match a few minutes in advance. Players have 10 minutes past the match time to join the lobby.
    1. Should a player not be present after the grace period, the opposing player will win the match by default.
  3. Both players are allowed to pick one warmup map with a maximum length of 3:30 minutes.
  4. At the start of the match after warmups, both players will !roll.
    1. The winner of the roll will choose either the pick or the ban order.
    2. The loser of the roll will choose the remaining order.
  5. Players have 2 minutes to pick or ban a map.
    1. Failing to choose a map in time will void that pick, and the pick skips to the other player. The rest of the order will remain unchanged.
  6. Banned maps are effectively removed from the mappool for the duration of the match.
  7. Starting from Round of 16 onwards, both players will have two bans. The bans will follow a snaking (ABBA) order.
  8. Map picks will follow an alternating order. Should a match get to the last point (i.e. 8 maps played in a best-of-9) with no winner, the tiebreaker map will be played.
    1. Round of 64 and Round of 32 will be best-of-9 (first to 5).
    2. Round of 16, Quarterfinals, and Semifinals will be best-of-11 (first to 6).
    3. Finals and Grand Finals will be best-of-13 (first to 7).
  9. The tiebreaker map will have freemod enabled, with Hidden, Hard Rock, and Easy allowed. Picking a mod on the tiebreaker is optional and not required.
    1. Standard mod multipliers will apply when using mods on the tiebreaker.
  10. Players may optionally enable the Hidden mod on any map, with its multiplier removed (i.e. the final score will be divided by 1.06).
Qualifiers
  1. Qualifiers will be played in Head-to-head mode.
  2. There are no bans in qualifiers.
  3. Players are responsible for choosing a time for themselves to play Qualifiers before the end of the Qualifier stage. Players that fail to select a time will be disqualified.
  4. Players will receive invites from the referee to their lobby a few minutes in advance. Players have 5 minutes past the match time to join the lobby.
    1. Would a player miss their lobby, they are allowed to reschedule to any future lobby if applicable.
  5. In the lobby, players will play through the entire mappool in the order given on the mappool sheet.
  6. In the event of a disconnection, the disconnected player will be allowed to replay the map at the end of the lobby.
    1. Suspected misuse of this rule may lead to disqualification.
  7. After all lobbies have concluded, the 64 best-performing players will advance into the bracket stage.
    1. Qualifiers will be seeded using Zipf's law; each score on a map is valued at 100 / (#rank + 14) and a player's final points are the average of these scores.
