Match Procedures

Qualifiers

Qualifier schedule with dates, times and mappool will be released on Monday.
Qualifiers deadline is August 18th, 8:00 UTC.
If none of the available lobbies work for you, you may request an extra lobby.
You will get a ping 15 minutes before the match and you will be pinged after invites are sent to you in game - if you don't receive the invite, message the referee on discord/game.
If you are 5 minutes late, the lobby will start without you and you will need to reschedule to a different lobby.
There are no warmups, and you will play all maps in order as they appear on the Mainsheet.
The referee will enforce 90 seconds timers.
If you disconnect around the first 30 seconds of a map, you can replay that map at the end of the lobby, only 1 map.
If you are not able to finish the lobby because of personal problems/technical issues your score on the rest of the maps you havent played will be 1.
Seeding results from the qualifiers will be released on August 18th - only 128 players will qualify.
Seeding will be calculated using the max percent method. Please check osu!wiki for more information.
For more information, go to the Rules Document.

Fun, but there's way too much randomness involved to justify badging this:
- How do you even assign player to lobbies ? If this is based this on timezone, the Lobbies will be uneven, leading to unfair advantage/disadvantage for some. If you pick randomly / based on seeding, you're gonna have unsolvable scheduling conflicts.
- You can lose after only 2 maps. By comparison, the "Eligibility" section in the wiki requires a minimum of Ro16 double-elim so you need to lose at least 2 matches to be eliminated.

1st point - I have made a sheet about assigning players to the lobbies, you can check here, players will have default schedule based on their timezones, if it doesnt work for any of them they have full right to try reschedule this.

2nd point - I've got acceptation from t-comm about this format, to prove my point you can check ticket i've made here
