do my stats like look decent? i dont really play this game competitively, mostly just for fun when im bored but i feel like my skills arent really scaling with this huge amount of playtime lol
like, i can BARELY play at anything above like what a 2.7, and i feel comfortable (i think at least, as in like hitting notes accurately) at 1.85ish - 2.20, which seems kinda low considering how much time ive sunk into this game but i dont really know

depends on wgat mostly for fun when im bord means. if you play like 4 hours a week thats fair but if you play like every 2 or 3 days for an hour its pretty bad

in your case wgere its just super casual not trying to casually get good you shouldnt really care about stats but enjoyment

I think you're fine lol
Mania is one of those games where consistency is key, so it doesn't really matter how many hours you put in. If you're inconsistent, impovement'll take way longer, which might be why you feel you're a bit behind. Nothing wrong w that, esp if you're just playing for fun whenever
I'd say don't worry abt it

According to oii which measures your improvement rate as a function of profile pp over playtime (obligatory pp =/= skill reminder), you have an improvement rate of 0.1x the average. Which is... slightly below average, to say the least.

Yea uhh... I am not improving 4.17x faster than other players. Like, it's something I guess, but realistically not reliable. Who knows how many hours I've put into RoBeats, plus I need to confirm this but I'm pretty sure hours spent in the map editor count towards the hours in osu number also?
And does this calculation even apply to osu!mania!? The expected playtime calcuation is based on the data of 10,000 players but doesn't state the gamemode, making me assume it's for standard, especially since PP will change with keycount a fair bit.

if you just went to github and looked at formula thats standard not mania. i was 2.47x faster than most until i used mania calc and got 0.7x fast which makes sense i play 6k i domt get pp and any pp i do get is not much aside from some pp farms

I'm not sure where you got 4.17x from? Looking at your mania profile, according to the extension you have a 1.44x improvement index.

Yea that is what I did. I don't think I can properly download this using my tablet considering I can't access Chrome extensions (I won't try to figure out how for the next hour), but I can see in the .js the variable userData.current_mode, so I guess there are other calculations.
