Southeast Asia Taiko Rising Stars (SEATRS) is an beginner-level 1v1 osu!taiko tournament for SEA countries. Each player has to choose a beatmap from the mappool that's been decided by the staff to reach the end goal by scoring as many points as possible in a match. The player with the lowest score will lose the match and enter the Lower Bracket. If they lose again in Lower Bracket, they would be eliminated from SEATRS.
Considering the success of SEATC as a Southeast Asian taiko tournament, Joltzzz and I (FinHazel) had an idea to host a spin-off of SEATC, mainly for beginner-level taiko players in SEA. This tournament is made to give players in lesser popular regions for osu!taiko a chance to win and become the next Southeast Asian Taiko Rising Star. With that, we are happy to announce the opening of Southeast Asian Taiko Rising Stars! Good luck, may the best player become the first rising star!
