I want to get into 7K in order to boost my skill a little, but, no matter how much I switch out my keybinds I can't find any that feel comfortable to play with.

Any help is appreciated

Edit: What I meant with "boost my skill" is "I want to go a bit further"

Edit 2: I got a keybind combination I feel comfortable with

I don't know exactly what do you want to boost but i doubt 7k will help with that. In any case, usually any keybind that let you hit the space bar without contorsing yourself should be fine, if you have a numberpad try using "zxc 0 123", if you prefer to not move your thumb much try using the top row, that's what i could suggest. if you want to play it and you can't find a confortable position just stick to what wont be bad for you.

take 4k keybind make bigger by finger out if keybind rtyu then ertSPACEBARyui

also because you said youre just getting into 7k then itll defo be uncomfortable to use spacebar the only way to avoid it entirely is stupid and waste of time in terms of 7k. if youre wondering its to learn 6k until you can do map pack [15]s and then play higher 3 stars and lower 4 stars but the issue is the wonk progression so dont

One thing to consider is key accessibility - make sure the keys you need to hit are easy to reach, especially the spacebar. Finger movement matters too; aim for keybinds that let your fingers rest naturally, without needing to stretch or move too much. Hand position is also key - keep your wrists neutral and avoid bending them up or down excessively.

What helped me was picking one layout and sticking with it for a few days to get used to it. Consistency is key, so don’t switch things up too quickly.

Bottom line is if you can’t find a perfect fit, stick with whatever doesn’t strain your hands. Take it slow, and remember that it might take a bit of time for your fingers to get used to a new setup.

If you can comfortably type on a keyboard, then I don't see a reason why 7k should be uncomfortable. You're probably just unfamiliar with 7k, so it'll naturally feel a bit awkward. I remember that used to be the case for me with the thumb.

Thumb always on spacebar. Fingers can be SDF JKL (my position). Or ASD L;' if you want arms to be a lil further apart. Or ASD 456 if u include the numpad and want arms to be far apart. If you've got long fingers, you might find moving fingers up a row to feel better, but for most people, the middle row is solid.

Honestly though, it don't matter much. You'll become accustomed to whatever keybind you play the most, that was the case for me with 10k. Initially felt a bit awkward, but I adjusted, and it became comfortable.

it does feel unfamiliar ngl, I guess the main reason could be how I'm used to sightreading 4K which is by remembering where my fingers are. My keybinds are the default iirc (dfjk), but it doesn't feel as confortable with 7K, so maybe I'll try the keybinds you guys suggested
