So, due to Whisky no longer being under active development, I guess the community needs new options! Okay, let's get to the meat and potatoes.

How to set up:
New users:
  1. Download and extract the app.
  2. Open a terminal window and enter xattr -d com.apple.quarantine, then drag in your osu-kegworks.app and press Enter.
  3. Run it. It should just start installing osu!
  4. When all is said and done, just run the app and it should launch!
Importing from previous installations:
  1. Download and extract the app.
  2. Open a terminal window and enter xattr -d com.apple.quarantine, then drag in your osu-kegworks.app and press Enter.
  3. In your previous osu! installation, navigate to your osu! folder.
  4. In a new tab in Finder, navigate to your osu-kegworks app, right click, and select "Show Package Contents".
  5. In osu-kegworks, navigate to the drive_c shortcut and replace the osu! folder with your previous installation.

Feel free to help out and I'll see you soon!

I had a bit of trouble running the app because my Mac kept saying that the file was broken the developer can't be trusted. But with a bit of googling and chat-gpting I figured out how to go around that.
You need to use this command 'xattr -d com.apple.quarantine pathname' in the terminal a bunch to 'quarantine' any files that your mac deems unsafe.

I was recently trying to play on kegworks with my uwu plugged in and suddenly the game would not permit me to alt anymore. As in I am unable to press a second key on my keyboard (or macbook keyboard) anymore. It does however appear that is only when IN map, outside of map I am able to press the key on the keypad/board to search for songs in song select. It is only when in map that my second key stops working.

as in 2 concurrent inputs?

it wasn't necessarily concurrent (just the second input keybind for tapping never worked), though it seems I managed to fix it. It was related to something being toggled in inputs, not 100% what, but its fixed now!

Hello!

I wanted to ask for advice or direction on a couple things I was trying to do with osu/osu kegworks on mac. I am not sure they are possible but if so any help would be very much appreciated:

using chat4osu/tournament client (referee client)

Again, thank you so much for any help in this, I am somewhat technologically illiterate so the only solution I have come up with for several of these is using some vm to run it but those seem to be inanely slow or just entirely dysfunctional for some reason ;-; (prolly my fault tbh)
