I registered as a player way back in 2010 as a teenager, but I was THRILLED to learn that the game was still up and running AND that I could download all my favorite old beatmaps of anime/Vocaloid songs- not to mention early 2010s emo/pop punk songs. I even picked up a 1-month supporter badge too show my appreciation<3
I'm Max, a '92 millennial from Jacksonville, FL. I'm FTM/nonbinary, but pre-transition due to a long time combination of living with fiercely unsupportive religious-conservative family + financial limitations that should no longer be an issue very soon, since I now live alone and just started a new job that pays pretty well and picked up a remote work gig side hustle.
I still love anime/manga/Jrock, but now due to the mainstream popularity of it (which I *NEVER* expected to happen ngl) I keep it mostly to myself since the newer gen stuff isn't really my cuppa tea. Evangelion/Bebop/FMA are my OG holy trinity, with love for Ghibli as well of course. I like reading and working on my car, & I have 2 sweet cats named Wednesday & Pookie.
It feels good to be back here, even though I never really socialized, never posted here on the forums (were there even forums back then??), and my total play time is less than 8 hours (I plan to get that sweet lookin Osu tablet soon and fix that though, heheh).
I recently recovered my original Gaiaonline account from 2007 and this gives me the same nostalgic vibe as going on there still does. So much so that I deleted FB/IG/X from my life and I feel so much better having done so. I really look forward to putting more time into this and playing some of my favorite beatmaps again, and checking out new ones too.
I'm not active on "social media" anymore, but I do have SpaceHey and Gaia like I mentioned before, all my currently active accounts are on y Linktree on my profile if anyone wants to check them out, and I'm always cool with random adds (from anyone over 18, ofc).
I paly on a Windows tablet with a badly cracked screen (thanks to my lil nephew) that I got from enrolling in a trade school with a BT connected half-sized mouse, but I think I'll be able to make it work until I get the Osu tablet. II just started a great new job, so gimme like a couple weeks & I'll be slaying these beatmaps, muahahaaha~
