Sportsmanship and Misconduct
hi• No forms of harassment between both players and staff will be tolerated. Any examples will lead to immediate disqualification.
• Players are expected to use common sense and to be respectful towards other players and staff.
• There are a set list of rules that anyone in the UBCEA Discord must follow. Violation of these rules will be assessed by the UBCEA moderation team and infractions of any rules will lead to immediate disqualification in the tournament.
• Players who are extremely uncooperative (i.e. clearly stalling) should be reported to any tournament host. We will do our best to give reparations accordingly.

Qualifier Round Rules
hi!• All teams will have one full playthrough of the mappool.
• Each map played will have 60-second time intervals in-between. The map will start regardless of whether all players are ready, unless the referee chooses to make an exemption at their own discretion.
• If a player arrives late to the lobby, they are free to play the maps that they missed at the end.
• Players are free to reschedule their lobby to any given time. There will be no custom lobbies.

Knockout Round Rules

• Players have 5 minutes to join the lobby until their pick is lost (unless unforeseen circumstances have arisen) and 10 minutes until a forfeit is announced on the side of the missing player.
• Players will have 90 seconds in both ban and pick phases.
• Winner of the !roll will get to decide between either pick or ban order, whilst the loser may pick the remaining order.
• Picks and bans are to alternate between players.
• If a player fails to pick/ban in the allocated 90 seconds, their turn will be skipped and the ban/pick will continue.
• If a player disconnects within the first 30 seconds of a map, the map can be aborted. 1 abort per player per match.
• Tiebreaker is freemod.
• Rounds will be played with pools with the following star ratings:
Qualifiers: ☆ 6.5
RO32 & RO16: 6.3
QF & SF: 6.5
F & GF: 6.75
These are subjective to changed based on the signups.
